this might sound ignorant but hey spare me out bcs I'm not that knowledgeable about the whole K-pop industry but if anyone ever asks me who I think would be the equivalent of bts in terms of girl group(not by popularity) its Mamamoo for me, not from a big company, break kpop stereotypes especially in beauty standard, actually involved in their music, moonbyul is great she write her own rap, they have insanely good vocals and they also talk about strong subject their music like women empowerment n self-identity. coming from a non-fan they're pretty solid.
They are just so refreshing. I get the same vibe from them as I do with BTS and I can tell they are genuine and love music. This song is also so beautiful 😍
MAMAMOO is the best female group, they're authentic, underestimated because they come from a small agency extremely talented. Their songs are incredibly amazing. It's so great how they break female kpop group standards, they're completely different. I love the way BTS and MAMAMOO support each other, real good friendship. This is one of my farites songs from them 💜💜💜💜
