Love this Rob. Have been following (and loving) your Walk Scramble Fly series for a little while and it's great to see them all put together so nicely.

That was simply fantastic Rob, really enjoyed it. Awesome footage on some beautiful days. Loved to see Amphitheatre Buttress at the end! I love that climb though I think I'll stick to the walk back down :D

That was an epic journey, thanks Rob! Very well done too - now all you need to do is repeat it with the Guinness Book of Records bloke strapped to your harness ;)

Nice one Rob…. Massively psyched for the lightweight/minimalist approach…. Commented on an earlier clip of yours… Elementary Pilot course completed… Working towards my Club Pilot… Regards, Ned Needham

Weheyy Rob, excellent work!! Would you say that paragliding is quite safe if you stick to the right weather and don’t do anything stupid? I’m a calculated risk kind of guy and would love to try it😊

That’s a great question and one that I also tried to find the answer to when I was looking at taking it up. In all honesty I’m still not sure of a clear answer. It’s definitely dangerous- after all we are hanging in the sky under some very flimsy nylon. It’s also different each time you fly - the weather makes such a big difference to take off and landing and your glide angle on approach. I do think you can stack the odds in your favour by being disciplined about the conditions you’ll fly in but it would be hard to describe as safe. Hope that helps but not sure it does!
