- In this video I will be sharing some of the things that I do to maintain my straight hair for 4-6 weeks. I filmed this earlier this year (peep the Christmas decor) but it took me a while to upload it......I just haven't been motivated. I was kind of snuggling with getting all of my thoughts out in this video but hopefully it's not too confusing.

Dove dry shampoo is a life saver! I use it to get environmental scents out of my hair and also to get my hair less oily and more flowy
I'm so happy to find someone with thick long hair like mine. I try to achieve the bone straight look when I straighten my hair but it turns out just like yours so now I know it's a normal result to get and it looks beautiful on you. I'm defiantly going to rock the blow-dried-looking style and put curls in it to get your look. and I'm for sure purchasing dry shampoo
Thank you for these videos. Your hair looks amazing. Thank you for keeping it real and being down to earth and not acting like natural hair is rocket science...lol...and that we have to do the most to grow hair! Love it.
LOVING THOSE LAYERS😍😍😍
Gorgeous head of healthy looking hair
Thank you 😊
I follow you because our hair looks similar..lengthwise and texture..I like how you have it styled Sis! We're growing together 💛
Thank you so watching 🤗
For the first time, I have found someone who has similar hair struggles as I do. I have stopped listening to most hair TH-camrs because clearly they tell me what they know about their hair. Like you, I just want to be able to comb my hair. Don’t care about it having a French press look. I can’t achieve it on my course hair by myself. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Honestly , after straightening my natural hair, thymo comb , I do enjoy combing and brushing my hair.
@@imeldamayer-taylor2783 I like my hair straight but then I don't know what to do with it. My hair is about the length of hers. It usually ends up in a bun on the top of my head.
My hair will frizz up at the edges also from the shower. Immune can last this long too. I am glad that you mentioned that you do not put a lot oils in your hair because when it gets old it will begin to smell.
Your hair is beautiful 😍 I exercise and that makes me not want to straighten my hair. But thanks for the tips
I need to try these tips. My hair frizzes up within 24 hours 🥴
Thanks for watching!
A good 3 hours here 🥴
@@kudzaiche Me too 😂😭
Most of the time mine reverts immediately!
I work out everyday so maintaining straight hair for more than a day is out of the question for me although dry shampoo might help extend it to perhaps a week
The longest I have went with straight hair is two months, but after a while you definitely got to wash it because the scalp will get itchy
What is your favorite heat protector?
Seriously who hair is this crazy long!!! 😍😍😍😍😍
Thank you, for all your tips. I follow similar methods for keeping my natural hair straight for about a month. Really low maintenance in winter.
gorgeous hair
Do you moisturizer your hair between washes if so, how often?
If you don't put anything in your hair and scalp after flat ironing, how do you moisturize your scalp? Isn't it super itchy and dry?
Thanks! What about when you workout? Roots combing?
I don't work out that often. Even if I do I don't sweat a lot. If anything It just makes my roots a little wavy.
My roots are still easy to comb. I have more of an issue with my ends if they revert back.
your hair is nice
Thank you!
you should have your hair done in a ponytail more often
Can you do a video about your college experience and what degree you went in for?
Sure, is there anything specific that you would like to know? (Besides what you wrote above)
@@milami. Yes can you discuss, living on campus, choosing your major (and why?), after college (finding a job). Thank you!
How do you maintain curls when put your hair up for bed?
I just wear a bonnet to a loose bun. My hair just stays curled but I am pretty sure there are some heatless curl products that may help preserve your curls.
Thanks
Bay Areeeeeaaaa!!
Good video! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
So you straighten it once every 4 to 5 weeks
I straighten it 1-2 times a year. When I do straighten it I try to keep it straight for at least 4 weeks.
I recommend you look for no sulfates fast hair growth shampoo.
But aren’t you supposed to wash your hair every week
I wash my hair when it gets dirty. Washing it every week dries my hair out. I know that there are some people who may preach a certain set of rules but I do what works best for me.
@@milami. Exactly! Why are we suddenly acting like what some average ladies on TH-cam say is gospel.
Maybe you should look into fortified shampoo for fast hair growth.
Thanks for sharing youre hair tips , you have beautiful hair . I am going to purchase some dry shampoo
Hope you like it!
