How in the he11 was the Truck's frame problem only discovered after countless hours of work was performed with replacing the engine and transmission???
I am finding it very hard to believe that shop "didn't notice" the fucked friont end on that truck until AFTER they unstalled an engine and transmission.
It's incredible the number of people who don't perform simple maintenance on their vehicles. Not only costly but dangerous on the road. A little saves a lot. Not surprising considering most people drive their vehicles with no regard for others on the road. And what happened to taking a look yourself under the hood, or peeking under the car every now and then. I'll bet most don't even know where the hood latch or dipstick is, or how to change a tire. So sad. Love cars and love to drive. Thanks for the clips!
people a fucking stupid man. oil changes and filter replacements are a MUST. half these clips remind me of that woman in a red dress that just splashed an entire jug of oil under the hood of her car in a gas station parking lot.
That last clip...I'll bet the customer was at a different shop. And they recommended the customer to change the parking brakes. So he change'd the button😭😂😂😂
The car with the broken shock mount was a mazda.. likely a mazda 3. They're all like that. And if they aren't they will be very soon!!! I've done about a hundred sets. Gotta love cheap cast aluminum parts after road salt makes love to them 😣😂
I've owned many vehicles. But I've never had vehicles with the frames that fucked up or transmissions or transfer cases cracked open. I have had two engines throw a rod, but they were high miler and used too me. Fixed one with a new engine and the other went to the wrecker. My question is, what are these people doing with these vehicles.
From my experience it is also possible it's a drive belt tensioner. I have seen the hydraulic oil leak out of the tensioner and it makes that exact same noise quite common on Toyota vehicles.
2:32 "Bigger issues found after the install" Yeah, Bullshit. That's an asshole shop is what that is lol. I guess I kinda understand dealing with idiots all the time and they bring this and you're just like "Okay bud"
It's fine... I drove it in here... 😂 Shops around here will make you tow it out if you refuse the work, because it is unsafe to drive. If stuff gets too serious the State Police are called.
I like the guy with the broken front suspension parts arguing with the manager about driving it back out of the shop because he got it to the shop just fine. -_- These people are the ones sharing the road with you... and people like this are the reason I quit doing mechanic work. WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN'T TURN THE ROTORS... blah blah blah... What do you mean you can't align my car cuz the tires are down the cord... it's like yeah I'm not taking on the responsibility of you going down the street after I do it and your tire blows etc. What do YOU MEAN MY FRAME IS BROKEN and the car isn't safe to leave under its own power... Yeah, I'm just trying to do repairs that don't need to be done Mr customer.
Unfortunately no there's not. Anything driving related in this country is so unsafe it's ridiculous. From being able to get your driver's license a couple days with no studying to cars from the 60s missing control arms and floorboards still being considered road legal. There are people here that don't even know what half the lights are on the dash.
The broken transmission in the first clip was caused by a badly worn double cardan joint on the front driveshaft. Trans is now at a transmission shop getting the case replaced to the tune of about $4000.
@@theglitch99 I dunno, welding cast metal is always hard. Even with aluminum, you have tons of impurities in the casting and the weld will just fail again.

How in the he11 was the Truck's frame problem only discovered after countless hours of work was performed with replacing the engine and transmission???
That's what im saying, they probably wanted the pay from the labor to install the engine
Not possible. They had to unbolt and rebolt the engine to the motor mounts and frame.
Could be it held at the time and gave out after the install
A little embellishment when the video was submitted
