Was disappointed Galar was under utilized in canon. Looking forward to seeing the ideas you come up with.
Raihan's involvement so far interests me the most so far.
Cramorant is such a derpy pokemon, those comedic interactions with Pikachu got a laugh out of me.
Happy that Raihan got such a big role, as he's the coolest Gym Leader ever.
Also, I'm happy Ash got a Cramorant in this story cuz it's one of my favorite new Pokemon from Gen 8. It's so dumb and I love it for that.
Interesting concept. I'm wondering how involved raihan will be in this as he's been a pretty dominate figure just in the first part

All I ask is that you have Hop in this in some way shape or form. He may not be one of the best rival in the games, but he is an awesome character.
You'll have to wait and see if he shows up somewhere in the series. :)

I’ll say what I said at the start of the Red What If.
With a lot of recent what ifs being on the darker side, it’s great to see one that is more laid back
This one is gonna try and tonally follow the anime so it may be one of my more laid back and cheery ones.
I'm excited to see your take on this one, I know you have very unique ideas story wise and I look forward to seeing it
This was great! I don't usually watch youtube, the only reason I still have it installed is because of you and two other channels. I really enjoy the What if with Red, and the What if with Serena, and the one with Paul being Ash's brother. I was also thinking, a what if about if Ash started in Johto would be really cool though. with like horace as a traveling companion, or totodile being Ash's starter. And again, this was an amazing episode, I hope part two comes out soon.

Ik this episode is old, but I had to say something about all the cram slander. I love the mon, and these comments only prove how underrated and under-utilised it is, even in a series entirely set in its own region. I find it ridiculous people would rather rookidee. It’s too mainstream and there was one in the Red series. Keep the originality up!

My prediction for the mysterious girl is going to be Bea, she literally fits the stern nature and she is the fighting type gym leader

I really like this concept and like the video. I think the girl could be either marnie or nessa. Keep making more videos, your what ifs are really great. I love the storytelling and your voice really gets me drawn in to whatever video you make. You have that voice that really makes me interested in the video.
My initial thought was Vanessa but it could def be my bae Bea. I know the order is normally Grass, Water, Fire, but if Ash just being Ash and just battle out of any order he wants, it would be cool to see how a known Alolan Champion would fair and hopefully being a couple more surprises from that region which is what I tight they were going to actually do in Journeys... But still a great series...
Would love if you could include images maybe but I love the series and the narrative and how long the battles take. Would love to see more of the gym leaders to show their personality instead of fighting immediately. So far, this is amazing!

to be quite honest to u ash is to over powered to do the gym challenge any more unless the gyms have 3-6 fully evolved Pokemon or like what they did this year in journeys

It’s a fan concept for a region based on Canada done by HoopsAndHipHop, though you’ll obviously have to get permission from him, and Lockstin’s region is better imo anyway.

Rookidee would've been too basic, and besides, Cramorant is designed around Pikachu, so I honestly believe it was a wiser choice.
