For light weight and most importantly to give it a rocky look. If you make it just by cement then you will not give it a rock look, the way you paint it is also important.
Using foam in concrete makes the break density much weaker like the volume of the foam in the mix creates gapes you drop that or something bumps it it breaks easy and chips easy use better solutions
