CONGRATS to Christa Deguchi on her gold medal in women's judo! disrespectful to not even mention the gold medalist in the title/thumbnail, and trying to use Summer for clicks. all Canadian athletes should be celebrated properly
It's a handover show (where one host hands off coverage lead to another) that lasts less than 20 minutes with minimal editing support. I agree that the name and format lends itself to a highlight reel. Fund the CBC so that it can pay for editors I guess?
I'm glad Canada got a gold in judo, but underwhelming is an understatement. I didn't even see what foul the Korean woman was supposed to have committed. They stood up and all of a sudden it was over. How is this an Olympic sport?
The rules are confusing to people who are new to the sport, but like the commentary said (you can see the video on cbc sports TH-cam), the Korean woman got a third penalty (therefore disqualified) because of a false attack. The commentary explained that she kept dropping under but there was no real threat so she did it too often and finally got a penalty for it
Well, that was a waste of my time. Two people talking, instead of CBC letting us enjoy the actual footage. Note to CBC. This isn't radio. Moving pictures are a real thing now.
Think about what she just said "Do whatever it takes to win the Gold" Absolutely terrible coverage unless we care about your personal experiences. Real Sad CBC
Great, informative show. Love the personalities.
YAY!!! 🇨🇦
I LOVE HOW YOU ACTUALLY SHOWED THE ACTION!!! WOW ..... I guess I am not going to watch the Olympics this time.

Snoop Dogg and Billie Jean King are Both from Long Beach, California and So am I. That's one thing they have in Common.😃
Canada has 5 medal now: 2 Golds, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze.
If you have no footage, you have no story .

CBC sports have all the replays of the event, it's really well done.

I agree. Why are we listening to these two talk nonsense?
