nice video bro, question is this Defence School of Transport , Leconfield????
No its not
Is it like this for Army Air Corps
I couldnt say, This may be universal, But since I'm a medic I cant confirm
@@PrettyTAF respect
is the army always shared living or is it just in training
Sometimes its shared living even at unit, but right now I'm saying that from my own room, so, it varies where you are
@@PrettyTAF oh damn thats kind of a off putting factor as im debating to try join the raf or the army i thought accoms was the same basically
My brother got his own place because the RAF accommodation was that bad, and I've stayed in RAF accom, it was not great, flannel washes in the sink as the shower was dogshite
Do you pay utilities bills or is it paid by army
No bills, you pay a small fee which automatically comes out your paycheck, but its like £60 or so a month so not much at all. But you dont pay any extra bills on top
Oh I see thanks mate
What’s it like for infantry though?
Accommodation? I couldnt say because I'm not infantry, But for most army places its a 4 man room with shared stuff, so should really be something similar
@@PrettyTAF hi bro is it same as phase 1 accomodation?
@@JavierUKWithCat No, You'll be in 16 man rooms for phase 1, no cooking facilities, shared bathroom, drying room and wash room. Basic is as basic as it gets in terms of accommodation
@@PrettyTAF thanks. ur must have list video will be life saver for many 👍👍👍
@@JavierUKWithCat My pleasure, I hope that people can arrive to basic prepared and fully kitted out to make life as easy as possible :)
What’s the price of all this bro ?
You get around £70 per month come out of your pay monthly
@@PrettyTAF not bad at all
@@khemrajsingh541 Yeah and for what we get, its not too bad, I've been to worse places
@@PrettyTAF so when you go on training operations overseas etc do you still have to pay for accommodation and pay to eat at the cookhouse etc ??
For training overseas I cant say because I havent been yet, but like what I'm doing now, training out of unit, I pay for accommodation but I dont pay for food, But the payments are minimal anyways so dont worry too much about it, you get used to the little payments
This is NOT the norm I promise you all. He’s lucky. You should see the bad accommodation…..
I've seen all sorts of accommodation, this is a very good standard, and by far NOT the worst I've been in lol
@@PrettyTAF it looks excellent. One day the rest of the army will catch up. The RAF is just the best.
I disagree with that, I've stayed on RAF bases, My god, the accommodation was terrible, I had to flannel wash myself every day for a month before I eventually left, my sibling is RAF and even he bought a house to get out of the terrible accommodation, Army does it better for sure :)
Royal Medical Corp?
yes
@@PrettyTAF Cap badge gave it away. Looks nice there, lots of room.
@@James-sj3qj I didnt know that my cap badge was on display until now lol, But yes, RAMC, Plenty of spacve for moving around, although after a while it does get a little cosy, but its more space than I have now
@@PrettyTAF what week are you on?
@James Didnt even see this comment, I'm now finished and at unit, but that week was around a week before finishing, so week 27 I think
