While I am so glad D-16 indirectly avenged the Primes by killing Sentinel but he was actually avenging Megatonus he didn’t care about the other Primes only Megatronus. Which is what lead to Megatron turning against his friends and going too far to kill everyone in Iacon. Megatronus’s influence has got into D-16.

@@generalgrievous8017 at the cost of innocent miners getting hurt. For those who saw the movie you saw how the miners reacted when Megatron started to destroy Iacon they were frightened by Megatron now.
What D-16/Megatron did to Sentinel Prime is brutal by tearing up his body into pieces but to be honest he definately got what he deserved anyway since Sentinel Prime is the main antagonist of this movie. Although I don't blame D-16/Megatron for hating Sentinel Prime because he had always looked up to him until he learn the truth that Sentinel Prime was never really a hero in the first place.

Sentinel deserved it but Megatron isn’t the type to know when to quit.
Personally I think Sentinel should have lived to see Orion become Optimus Prime. I would have loved to see him react to someone else rightfully get the Matrix of Leadership, especially a miner whom he stole his cog from.

Because unlike Jazz who sacrificed himself by directly confronting Megs while Ratchet helped the humans retreat, Sentinel is just a coward with big toys.
@orhandalegend Not really a coward. He was smart with the Quintessons. Facing the 13 would have been suicide and later into the movie he faces the High Guard, Bee, D, Elita and Orion himself with the help of his drones
@@orhandalegend Jazz didn’t sacrifice himself. Megatron knocked him down with an explosion then picked him up and flew away with him before ripping him in half. He didn’t sacrifice himself he just got killed
@@jaxonn0918 No he didnt "just got killed" Ratchet was there too, he confronted Megs head on while the others were retreating. It may have not been the text book definition of a sacrifice but its still noble.

I didn't mourn for Sentinel when he died, but I did mourn for D-16 when he killed the false Prime.
I don't know why but part of me finds it funny to see Soundwave and Shockwave in a crowd cheering for someone's blood. It's so brutal and unexpected from some of the more stoic characters in the franchise. XD
But from what we know about Shockwave, he definitely enjoys seeing that
From their view in this, this is what they were waiting for. Sentinel had oppressed and betrayed them. They were just finally happy that someone made him go away forever. And in a manner most brutal.
@@Jeff_Pryce And keep in mind what High Guard was partizaning MANY YEARS and they have dealt with huge dissapoinment, they didnt have any meaning to fight, expect revenge. Pity existense honestly.
But then Megatron showed up and deliver his promise IN A SINGLE DAY, giving the High Guard what they wanted FOR YEARS. And especially a new meaning to fight and die. What's why they are so loyal to him and ready to die now. He gave them all they ever have wanted. Why they should abandon the one loyal to them for a favor some prime puppet?

I'm quite surprised how D-16 dispatched Sentinel, I knew he was going to kill him, but I thought he was going to blow his head off with his blaster. Ripping him in half was so much more brutal.

I still see Megatron as a good guy here, lets not forget, he avenged all the 13 Primes since Sentinel killed them all. The 13 Primes are the ruling panel of the Iacon Nation, perhaps the whole world. Sentinel commited 13 regicides, he deserve a death sentence, and the Primes did not stop D-16 because this isthe right thing to do

Great fight and banter as always. But something is bugging me that could be answered in the potential sequel… Why do the Quintessons need the Energon? Maybe they’re using it to awaken the Chaos Bringer himself, Unicron. And knowing just how cocky and arrogant they are throughout the different continuities, they think that when they bring Unicron back to life, he will do their bidding, but in all likelihood, Unicron will kill and eat them all instead.
That’s probably gonna be expanded on in possible sequel (hopefully)
I think in this continuity i think the Quintessons need it to survive and since they probably dont know about the other Energon rich planets, they require Cybertron's
@@gavichealsomething2169 or maybe to add to this, they were initially a peaceful race that actually helped other worlds, but Unicron destroyed their homeworld and as such the Quintessons were forced to resort to more violent tendencies to get what they needed to survive. This being the reason why they allowed Sentinel to remain in power because doing so would benefit them and allow them to survive.

You know I can’t help but relate to how D-16 feels. I have had (and still have) feelings of being wronged by someone before and have feelings of vengeance as well. Though one must remember that revenge is not always the right answer.
When Sentinel welded the decal onto D-16's body, I could hear him in my mind say,
"You will live to regret this!"

True, although it costed D-16 his sanity and destroyed his friendship with Orion Pax.
Props to the voice actor of D-16 for making you buy him going from a completely normal guy at the beginning of the movie to boarderline Kratos levels of rage as Megatron in the end.
Tbh, the way he sounded in the end, it already became my favourite voice for Megatron (which originally it was Frank Welker from Transformers Prime or Hugo Weaving from BayVerse). Already gives me Kratos’ vibes (and does not help the fact that he sounded very identical to TC Cason’s Kratos from the God of War Greek Saga).

You can say pax gave sentinel a worse fate. I mean when he stopped d from killing him with a gun, which is a very efficient killing tool which means you die faster, he pissed off d so much that tearing him in half was the thing to go to rather than shooting him which relatively preferable over being torn in half

Also, I’m surprised that Brian Tyree Henry basically went from his usual self (like the other movies) to FREAKING GREEK KRATOS in the end. To be fair, a Kratos-esque voice for Megatron feels very fitting
(which is why Brian Tyree Henry became my favourite voice for Megatron).
Pax saving Sentinel reminded me of Toby Macguires spiderman saving Goblin from Tom Holland
