Here is a difference of you put a Space Marine in Star Craft. They would be equal of not better that a Protos warrior or possibly smaller.but moves and hits like a Goliath.. A Terran Marine needs a bunker, while the Space Marine is a walking Bunker. A Terran Marine could only stand and shoot at an Ultralisk while a Space Marine will pull out a chainsword and go on melee with it. A zerg woud spit acid on a Terran Marine, but a Space Marine would spit back. A Terran Marine was inspired by a Space Marine but a depowered version. The Space Marines would look at the Terran Marine and see them not as brothers but a heavily armored Guardsman whos looking at combat the right way.
