New winter project. Build a feed mixer. Hydraulically operated from the tractor hydraulics. 3 55 gallon steel drums welded together to make a long pipe with "paddles" welded inside it. Mount the assembly on a slight angle to encourage feed to mix and travel forward to another hopper. Rinse mixer to clean up and add water to finished product hopper. That drill and mud paddle looks too much like work! LOL I am small scale enough that I can mix my feed in 5 gallon buckets..
The spent barley we get has almost no sugars left in it...we add minerals and nothing more...we use barley and alfalfa to feed when the pastures are dormant and they thrive

We do actually mix in bio-char to the barley at 5%...they spread it out for us 💩
