Such an awesome transformation. Looks a lot cleaner and manageable, with a lot more curb appeal. I'm sure you won't miss having clogged gutters. Well done, looks really nice.
As a soon to be retired realtor I say well done Joe. Tasteful trim details gave the home personality in just the right proportion. As a native Oregonian I'm guessing you live in the Willamette Valley someplace?
Joe, can I trouble you for some advice on my Powerstroke diesel? I know you don't have yours anymore but...I have a 97 Heavy Duty F250 with about 180K on it. It has the similar (but not exact) 7.3 to yours with the new body style. I bought it used a few years ago intending to use it as my travel and tow my boat. It's stock except I had a shift kit installed (E4OD), ball joints replaced, and front brakes beefed up. I've watched many of your videos about your 7.3, and I would appreciate any cost effective and higher priority recommendations to improve fuel economy and performance. I plan to keep the truck until I die or it does, so I keep it well maintained, but I don't intend to make it into a show piece or torque/HP monster...can't afford that. But I love it and want to keep it in good health. Thank you and thanks too for your excellent videos. Rick Murie, Vancouver, WA
Not a whole lot of unknown advice from me. Make sure all is clean, maintained and working properly. Check out you’re exhaust back pressure tube and sensor. As far as tuning goes, some people swear by close to 20mpg keeping it stock. I never saw that tuned or stock haha. My opinion is, with a custom tuning you can keep it mild while get equal or better mpg. Without worrying much about pushing the truck too hard. I would highly recommend Dustin at 1023 for tuning. I spoken with him personally and he’s a great guy and great company.
