Awesome video!! I saw a few of the pictures you posted on a FB Yellowstone page I follow and was pleasantly surprised to find your video here. Yellowstone is indeed one of the best places in the world!! I know putting together a video is a lot of work, both collecting footage and editing, but I have to say, you guys did such a great job and have fun personalities, so I would have loved more content. Looking forward to seeing more videos! Happy Trails!

Good job! Enjoyed your video ! Makes me want to check out that area. Loved your lady’s mockery of your serious commentary(facial expressions etc🤣🤣) can’t wait to check out some of your other adventures on your channel! Good job 👍👍

Thanks man, that spot is about a 30 mile hike to get to!

Where was your first camp site located? Also, what was there any major elevation change or was the first half of the hike? Looking at plotting a very similar course for a trip this summer. Thanks for any info you can provide.

Our first night we stayed at 8R5, which created about a 5-6 mile detour so that we could visit the lake & the geyser basin. Going out & back like we did, you have to climb up to (and drop down from) Douglas Knob Meadow which is about a 1,000-1,200’ gain over a couple miles, going either direction as I recall.

Oh and by the way …. I agree ….. most of the Yellowstone area should be avoided at all cost. Go see old faithful( the only real attraction at the park) and skip all the rest !! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
