Very beautiful build! For this aircraft, I pay most attention to the painting and weathering job. Also, this short video was a good chance to see a condensed presentation of the project. For a more thorough step-by-step presentation, I turn to the Tamiya F-14A build on Scale-A-Ton. However, that presentation is spread over about a dozen separate uploads, and takes days to watch. Yours is a nicely condensed overview of the build which allows familiarity to be gained with Tamiya‘s new release. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work! Oh, and thank you for the Tchaikovsky, as well.

I love the idea of having “guest modelers”, especially for subjects that aren’t your primary interest. Minor constructive criticism for Mike. Show us more building, and more close ups of the parts. Don’t just talk to a pile of parts, I want to see how you do it. Thanks for devoting the time to do the vid for us. I gave you a “thumbs up!”

That's why it got it's nickname "Bombcat's" back in 91 during Desert Storm. Turns out they are a great bomber too. The Navy was ready to retire the F-14 back then but changed their mind after seeing what else they could do.

I would like an airbrush that can handle a large range of paint types etc. the idea was to use it for model painting and tshirts. also can you use dyes for leather in airbrushes? thnx for any advice, i'm a noob to airbrushing if you couldn't tell lol!

    • @PanzergrauModels

I would recommend you a Harder and Steenbeck Evolution 2in1 - it give you all the flexibility you need. I'm not familiar with dyes for leather so I cannot give you advice. Anything else I've tried thru my H&S: acrylics, enamels, polyurethanes, 2K resin, lacquers.
