Just The Genius 🙏 no one has such a voice , such a fabulous sound, such engaged and meaningfull text , such a talent … you are the best Moz, you never betrayed or disappointed me … i love you ❤
But who are your ‘own people’? Who decides who is in that ‘group’? Is it the colour of their skin, their sexuality, their choice of religion, their place of birth, where they went to school, what language they speak? Think about it.
@@europainvicta3907 Think about what? I recognise a 100% Scotsman or women within about 0.01 of a second of them opening their mouth and me setting eyes on them. Anglo Saxon or Celtic with a broad accent. It's very simple.
Was it Morrissey to say after Breivik massacre in 2011 that the murder should be unnamed, not photographed and quietly led away? That sounds wise and the same should be done in this case. No need for assasins to rise to a prominence. Why does he say sth opposite now?
Interesting…The very first thing I thought of hearing this song were his lyrics from The Last Of The Famous International Playboys: “In our lifetime those who kill the news world hands them stardom” which I always thought was brilliant so now I’m just confused I guess about where he’s at.
I don't think he is - the point Morrissey makes in his address is he is comparing the treatment in the aftermath of the Moors vs Salman Abedi, the Manchester Arena bomber. I'm currently writing about this. Interesting the disparity between Hindley's funeral & Brady's - in fact the state handled Brady's 'funeral' & went to obsessive, arguably ridiculous lengths in the dead of night with police escorts & a salt urn that would dissolve underwater - the idea being it restricted the spread of his ashes by being sunk in an urn, rather than being spread over a larger area had they been conventionally scattered at sea. Abedi by contrast has not been 'monstered' the way the Moors were - by either the media or the state - although he killed 22, including children.
I will look back in anger till the day I die - so powerful
One of the morrissey classics in the making , saw it in Blackpool , brilliant
FOX Theater. ATL. 2023. I'll be there. Life long dream.
his best song since Life is a pigsty
Great song and powerful message. Can't wait for the new album. Hopefully it won't be too long before it can be released.
Last of the melodic free thinkers
His voice just gets better and more powerful the older he gets. Incredible
Don't give up Morrissey. You're right. Not them.
Amazing
Gives us some truth.
What a passionate performance.
Amazing man and yes your right Mozza we will look back in anger and shame at our great nation going down hill
Such a moving message and so brilliantly sung. Moz gets better and better !
We create freedom for ourselves and each other.

Theres absolutely nothing wrong with having passion for your own people. I mean, it's celebrated when our soldiers return after defeating the enemy.

@@europainvicta3907you know who’s your own and who isn’t. I’m tired of that kind of logic
Just Amazing 👏 😍 🙌
Thanks babyj brilliant! Thanks for this high quality video
Don't look back Don't look back
... I realise now as TOOL cure fan how he has grown to this which puts to shame ... you know who people xx
Silenced & censored because he has the gall to think, challenge, speak and sing. What happened to England?
His next song should be about the authoritarian islamoleftists and 2TK.
Is yer man banged up with Tommy Mair?
He needs to work with better songwriters

Personally I think when it’s your home town and the response of the masses / media it would hurt more

Difference is that authorities are covering up to spare themselves debate and scrutiny of their policies.
