I think Maxene is trying to contain her emotion. It was emotionally hard for her to impersonate her dad but she was able to finish her performance. Good for you Maxene!

I wasn't able to watch last weeks episode that's why I didn't know, Maxene would be impersonating her Dad. Didn't watch last night as well and only here in TH-cam was I able to catch up with the episodes I miss.
