The food that could feed hungry children they destroy! It makes my soul hurt, large grocery store chains are making billions, those boxes of cereal could go to food banks, blessing boxes, directly to families to ensure their children are not hungry.
I fully agree, and I also think it's a matter of legislation. Share your opinion in your local community, the more people know corporations are doing this the easier it will be to make legislation against food waste

@michaelsmith-4sz not all the food is out of date. If this is a franchise food store/mart, then sometimes the head office will say, get rid of say miracle whip with this batch number and they have to get rid of that miracle whip, in date or out.

Ahhh yum yum sauce is heaven. It's generally eaten on sushi. It's a mayo type of sauce with a kick.lol. it's amazing! Always love seeing what u save. Missing longer videos tho..😢

I have a cousin who works at dollar general and she said that they are made to destroy a lot of the food and if not they can get fired. She has kept a lot and taken things to our food bank and homeless place even to schools (school supplies she takes to the school).

This is starting to piss me off, the cost of food has gone up and will keep going up. Our food bill has tripled in the last few months. We only have 2 in our family but 4 dogs. They eat leftovers and salads, ithelps not waste food, and they have dry food in their dish. But their treats and food have gone up also, we cut back on the treats for them. But we watch what we buy and what is just too high to get like fresh fruit and fresh vegetables. But to see how much the destroy that a family could use. What comes around goes around one day they will be having to get food from dumpsters

Corporations are greedy. If they toss items in the dumpster, they receive compensation from the government. If they just give it away free, there is no compensation. Greed!!

They do keep some stuff for themselves when they have just ran out of certain foods etc

Always check for clear plastic bags of fish, they do throw live fish away.
