Looks good. I’ve had Joao Miranda’s Smoke 2.0 Smart Watch for over a year & it still works perfectly every time..! But only wear it occasionally at special events; as scared of breaking it! 🙏😃🎩
Got my product. Spent $550 CND on this watch. Was so excited. Watch you video and the tutorial twice but setting up. Went through the whole thing but no smoke! Reached out to customer support but received nothing. I understand that a product might be defective but this is ridiculous. All I want is this watch to work but seems like the coil is not heating up. Everything else works. I am so disappointed in customer support. Right now I have asimple watch that does nothing. BUYER BEWARE!
You have answered all my questions. I think I will wait for version 2. In my opinion it looks like a bulky prop on your wrist. I agree that it should thoroughly cool down before refilling it, so it's only good for one or two performances. Another excellent review and I think I will save $300 dollars and use my reliable Smoke Cube for now.
Very informative video! I have my reservations about mist or smoke in magic. It can either enhance or detract from your magic depending on how and when it's used. Timing! No pun intended. A bit pricey and I can understand why. I do prefer the wrist watch type for smoke/mist.
Fantastic review. Covered all the main details. I have two smoke watches already and have never used either. Have never even opened my vapr watch. Looks too bulky. I don’t think my dress shirt cuffs would even fit over it. Can you change the delay time for the button feature on the watch?
Great Review David but did you not mention it or did I miss it? What about the USB port in front of the device, where everybody can see it? How would you explain to someone asking why an analog watch needs an USB port for?
Hi Dave, new subscriber here. Really love all your magic review! Save me a lot of unnecessary purchases 🔥 One question for this watch, does it get hot? Especially if you run it multiple time within short period of time? Cos i think that’s the problem was with joao miranda’s smoke watch that makes me not want to get it Cheers mate
Oooo this puts me in a quandary lol. See I have mirandas smoke watch 2.0 and a standard vapr unit. But was debating selling my smoke watch due to the fact its annoying its doesn't tell the time and its a pitiful puff of smoke that it produces. So was going to go back to vapr but equally hate strapping the unit to my body. So not sure whether to invest in this now
I'd rather have a large diameter watch than one that's so tall. It doesn't fit my style either. I still want something for smoke but I'd rather palm I think. A new, even smaller smoke cube would be nice.
I feel like if they worked more on it it could have been a smaller watch. Or maybe more expensive, but that's a nice discussion.. do you want a cheaper-lesser product vs more expensive-better product. That being said, a really good review once again!
@@magicorthodoxy To each their own David. In no way is that a comment about you or your videos. This device just doesn't meet the requirements I have in the "looks normal" department. But I appreciate your videos and love for the art.
looks very bulky … plastic strap for a $300 watch 😳 … a lot of smoke 💨 and mirrors 🪞 to me … I’d prefer a web-shooter 😜 thanks for the review David 👍🏻👍🏻
Tutorial mentioned waiting 30 to 60 seconds before applying drops after performance. Not 30 minutes like you indicated. Did you just misspeak or have other knowledge regarding this?
The 2 big main issues for me of these kind of devices : 1- the coil is permanent & isn't removable it's 2- the battery can't be changed So this watch is good for a while till the coil will be broken and the batteries life will be ended. May be one day it one of the creators will come with better solution that let you changing the coil & battery so the product will last for lifetime. This device for me still is not worthing the 300$ , you're paying for a disposable device, for this price i prefer to be some options switching the coil & battery.
@@magicorthodoxy good point but I’d hate to just fall in love with the watch and then 3 years later and it doesn’t work because the battery is no longer rechargeable. Or like you said the coil somehow breaks
@@carlpowers7291 falling in love is risky - but also worth it. Think about all the magic and wonder you could do in those 3 years and then in 3 years another even cooler watch will come out

Smoke cube is amazing

I dont believe so - it dosnt have an interface

just say it's not analog
Just scooped one up! And they showed sold out last night. Whew!
it wasn't for sale until this morning
The watch is tall but it looks like it’s part of the style. I collect watches and they come in all shapes and sizes.
yep !!!

Not that I know of
How would you compare this to Vapr Watch?
I never owned vapr
I made a comment to something that was said but I would like to add that I love this idea and if I had $300 , then I’d probably get one
ok

Which is better this or smoke watch pro 2.0?
i've never owned another
Your right. Your video posted 9 mins ago and it’s already sold out
it went live at 2 am .... so it's still available

How quiet is this compared to others?
I said in the video, that I've never owned others
Jeez that thing is huge and awkward. Looks terrible to me because of that
:(

a web shooter would be awesome
its kinda ugly
I prefer the look of Vapr Watch.
It’s hideous with how bulky it is.
@@cromwandelure9901 ya that's the way i feel. it would be so lame ti have this on. people would see the smoke and know how its done so fast

you can replace the watch battery
