We definitely need to see more of this. I've been saying this for years. JSU needs to make it's face visible in the city and region. The thing the football team did with the water was great, but it would be great to see athletes, alumni, Greeks, etc out there building capitol in the community doing community service. Heck even going to high school sporting events and things like that
@Queen NitaBo Yes community service is a requirement for a lot of groups. It's even a part of some curriculum. But I think it's time for HBCUs to start doing it on a much larger scale and more deliberate. There is something to be said for rebuilding relationships and increasing for footprint.
