Recent US statements and missile sanctions show that US is not happy with the Pakistani Establishment. Pakistan has low importance to the outgoing Administration now. It may still assist in the $6 billion+ IMF loan in July 2024. The Establishment is on its own to deal with $19 billion loan returns due before Nov 2024.

Their intentions particularly the leadership in the establishment always go after prolonging their position. As far as west is concerned they don’t care what current establishment does, take away social media, put a few politician in prison, prolong your position. Just deliver what we want.
