According to one episode where we could see the gravestone of Noelle's mom the show takes place in 1634. Noelle and Asta are roughly the same age so they were both born in 1619. Currently they are about 18 years old so it's now 1637 in Black Clover, however these are probably non canon since it takes place in a very different world where these years don't apply since their history is completely different.

I kinda had to estimate bc I couldn't find the exact time and I kept seeing between. 1600-1650 so I just chose in-between. I even searched what year asta was born but that didn't work so yeah😅

How did you figure out what year that Black Clover takes place? I never knew it even had a specific year..
(Also the BC Movie is actually somewhere around the timeskip in the anime, meaning it isn’t Asta at the end of the anime.)
