I absolutely love watching you make up different colours. It's very therapeutic just watching.
Cheers sadie. I'm teaching myself Norwegian knitting at the minute. Far easier on the hands. I can't wait till I can progress to doing what you do. Your amazing😁. Cheers x

Don't you love how we can change things when we don't like them?

I really wasn't sure I'd like it when I saw the black sari silk, but wow that is really nice. Kind of like muted tiger stripes. Very nice, Sadie. :)

Thank you, Briael, I do that to myself all the time and then for some reason it's just pretty when I'm done. I don't know how I do it lol it's like magic xx

Oooh Sadies 100 days for a hash tag! Or 100 days with Sadie?
That blend will pair up with the blaze and something you tried to work out for the marbled effect and I thought it would end up a yellowish orange instead.
Colorwork... Best method to test that is to get some pager and draw squares on it, or graph paper works too, then color each block in for a shape\ letter\ number\ design. The uncolored squared become background (color 1) and the colored in ones are the colorwork (color 2).

Hi, beautiful roving ! Watching your videos had me interested in dying fiber and all the other ways to prepare it other than buying commercial rovings. I'm preparing to wash my first fleece as soon as I get it in the post ! I am also interested in knitting colorwork and haven't gotten the courage to try it yet but heard that it is easier to start with a project in the round, as you don't have to manage your colors while purling on the wrong side. Nordic sweater ? Fair isle hat ?
Looking forward to seeing you do it !

Thank you so much, if you need any advice or help with anything to do with your fleece please don't hesitate to ask if I can't explain it in writing I will do a video on it for you. Thank you for the colourwork suggestions, too. Lots of love and light xx

oooooh pretty reminds me of an orange kitten :) Sadie im just leaning long draw and prepping a mix of texcel alpaca and superfine merino- planning on my first sweater! in your experience what would be the best spin and ply? ive had to card it and the staple is 1-3 inches. Also im aiming for a finished 4ply weight. Thank you so much and hope the ouchies bugger off soon 😊❤💛💖💚💜🧡💙

Ooo, that sounds heavenly. If carded, I would suggest what you're already doing and longdraw, I prefer to chainply everyone, but I do recommend a 3 ply whether you chain ply or do a true 3 ply. Thank you so much for the wonderful question. I should have answered this on the live, but. It was too interesting to pass up straight away, lol xx

I still can’t get along with dizzing . I end up just using my hands . Do you think it makes a difference to the spin?
