I've been a otr trucker for 28 years... Many years ago I was deadheading from Saint Paul, MN to Chicago... It started snowing lightly... I slowed to 45 mph.. Just outside Stoughton Wisconsin a big gust of wind pushed the 53 foot trailer sideways causing the tractor tandums to lose traction... It was like a slow motion jackknife... The truck hit the guardrail.. then the trailer straddled the interstate... broke a air line and lost air causing the brakes to lock .. it also broke the elbow on the exhaust pipe and dented the side box. Not much damage to the trailer...
It's a weird feeling when the trailer is pushing the tractor and the drive tandums have no traction... You Have No Control... Fortunately I slowed my speed or it would have been violent....

That’s a nice trailer congrats on it. The best option I have used on a trailer was a built in fuel tank with 15ft fill hose. It was a game changer

This is why I only run 5th wheel hitches. Goose necks scare me for this exact reason. First time same thing happen to me empty trailer wind took it
