Ok i finally took the leap and bough Hellpoint. Ive never played a Dark Souls game but your videos made me try it. I was stuck on the first boss of Blue Sun but i managed to beat them after watching your video. Just wanted to say thanks for introducing me to these games. They seemed too hard for me for a long time
Your most welcome. If your going to jump into the Dark Souls games i highly recommend starting with The Surge and Bloodborne. These were the games i cut my teeth on before jumping into the harder titles.
Dont let the difficulty stop you from trying. I was utterly hopeless at these games a few years ago. have a look at my original video, i was terrible. It just takes time and acceptance that your going to die.... a lot before you git gud
Enemies in these types of games are not random, they have telegraphed attacks and patterns and they don't deviate from those patterns so it's all about learning what attack is coming next and how to avoid it, which can only be learned from experience, death is just part of the gameplay loop, just like in roguelikes your supposed to die, death is just a learning experience
Thats a fair point. When i recieved it the game was relatively unknown and from a (then) small developer but its become wildly popular. I still play it even now.

I would consider hellpoint more of a AA title than an indie title
