Young Carers Week Highlights

A recent commission for Young Carers SA across their week of events. Shot with my good friend Mark Dohring, our brief was to piece together a simple film that would highlight the various events all designed to give young carers an opportunity to escape a bit of their day to day regularity. These kids, as young as 5! are little champions...many have parents or guardians who have disabilities or illnesses that require hands on help every day. As a result of their added responsibilities many of these kids don't get to do many of the fun things most kids their age are able to do, so this was their chance!
