Works pretty good on bedrock, I found a spawner that was next to another spawner (both zombie) in my survival world so I played around with the design for that and i got it so it works. Only problem is that the zombie gets stuck in the beginning of the soul sand upy thing lol but the other zombies push it so it’s not a problem at all! Thank you I really appreciate the video! If anyone wants I can make a video showing off my design for the double spawner, and of course all credit will go to this video creator!
I was having a problem with the zombies getting stuck, too. So I waited until I heard a zombie villager drop, blocked off the kill area, released him, had him chase me into a separate room with a little fenced area, locked him in, splashed him with a weakness potion, fed him a golden apple, waited until he turned into a normal villager, and took him in a minecart into a little 1X1 fenced area right in front of where the zombies are going to get shot up. The zombies now track towards the villager and get out of there much more quickly.
i know that a selling point of this design is that it uses no redstone, but afk trident killers are seriously OP, would recommend. instead of the elevator going up 20+ blocks, just bring the mobs up 6 blocks and over to the trident killers for afk xp. hold looting sword in hand to apply the effect on the mobs and collect drops with a hopper minecart. material list: 4 pistons, 8 observers, 2 levers, 1 trident (doesnt use durability after thrown), 1 minecart hopper, 1 powered rail, 5 rails, at least one hopper and chest. great design anyway, the fence trick really stops the clogging issue
Out of all the explanations of using soul sand’s water bubbles as an elevator, yours was the most crystal clear. What I wasn’t getting is how one would be able to accomplish it without INDIVIDUALLY placing water block for block, I had no idea kelp could be used for this. Much appreciated and you also got a sub out of this😎
the fence thing is so much nicer than all the designs i’ve been doing, so glad i found this so they won’t get stuck anymore, i used to try using wild wolf and villagers lead them out of the place they always got stuck in but this is way easier 😊
This is an absolute godsend. Me not having access to creative or spectator definitely complicated things (I'm playing in a realms world I do not own so I didn't have access to the F3+F4 switcher), and the elevator and drop took me a couple tries because I can't math, but by Notch is it worth it. What took me most of a day by my crude spider farm (I know you can't use a typical design on spiders because they can climb walls) takes me about an hour or so at the skeleton spawner; almost makes finding it worth dying to a creeper later and losing my Fortune III pickaxe to lava.
for any bedrock players that can't press F3 and see what direction south is bring a locator map, when your arrow on the map is pointing down that means you are facing south. When the arrow on the map is pointing up that means it is facing North.
Or you could dig your hole and design your platform twice like I did, for funsies of course. Not at all because my kill room interfered with spawning chamber. :)
