Joel's young self revisited him and questioned himself why hanggang ngayon, hindi pa rin siya lumalabas and nagpapaka-free, kung bakit hindi pa rin siya mag out or umamin sa sarili. The part na Elijah went home is like Joel letting go of his young old self. This short film is perfect!

contestant #4 is one of my favorite projects elijah canlas has been part of. both mr. joel saracho and elijah’s acting were so raw, natural and very much convincing. the story was so well-executed, communicated and visualized that it did not feel like a short film at all, but just like a full 2 hour one. every second, every frame and every line counted and contributed to the beauty of the story. looking forward to more of these by such amazing directors direk celeste lapida and direk kaj palanca.
