1994 Willhire 24 Hour Race 'The Last' - Snetterton

Doesn't seem to be any videos for 1994, so uploaded this, don't get too excited as the video isn't great though !
I partnered Tony Brass and Alex Rogan in Alex's Road Saloon Capri in the invitation class. We finished 17th completing 794 laps.

I was there as a kid and remember it.
The skyline was running with a boot full of water at one point as it kept overheating.
The escort cosworths kept breaking down, and ended up in a real tortoise and hare battle with the civics.
There were very few M3s, odd as they'd dominated for the 5 years previous.
I think there was a Rover metro which also ran in the invitation class with the capri, and was stuck in 4th gear for something like 21 hours.
Pity it was the end of an era, the Wilhire and the Birkett relay were great races and I spent a huge number of weekends watching races at either the esses or riches.

17th was a great achievement, didn`t see that white v8 Vitesse though .. ; )

Like all good things in UK..IT MUST COME TO AN END !! Can you imagine the 24 hrs of Spa or Lemans coming to an end??
