Probably one of the better videos on Postonjska I’ve seen. I would like to have heard more about how it was founded - by who and a little history. Still very good!
What a beautiful and fascinating place. What a wonderful video giving just enough to make me hunger for more! I also enjoyed your great video of Predjama Castle. Good work, my friend! ~Peace!
We've visited some really cool caves in our time it never seen one with a train line that takes you around. You got some really good shots too as sometimes I find the lighting make it hard to film well in. I love the baby dragons!!! So cool!
What a great video with a lot of good information! I was there in the early 80s with my parents. Your video makes me want to go back so I can really appreciate it as an adult. Thank you!
We haven't been to Slovenia but the day we will go there we definitely want to visit Postojna Caves. Usually, we prefer to visit less touristy caves but this one seems worth visiting if it is a bit crowded. The train ride inside must be an experience. Then you can just focus on the beauty of the cave. We would also like to see the little baby dragon. So cute and weird! Great video as always!
Thank you. The best you can do to avoid crowds is to visit it this year. If that is not possible, then I would advise you to avoid visit in July and August. In spring and autumn Postojna cave it is not crowded and is a brilliant experience.
The underground zoo is an interesting addition. Not sure what I need to think about the train. I feel always a bit sad when places get too commercialised.
I agree with you to a point. But if you want to see the best parts of this amazing cave, train is the only option as it is very large cave and the best parts are quite far from the entrance.
Is there public transportation from Ljubljana to Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle? How can we get to these 2 places without a car? Thanks in advance! Finding your videos very helpful in planning our upcoming trip! 😊
@@rokgoesaround Thank you! Sorry to ask again, but I can’t seem to find information on the transport between Prejama Castle and Postojna Cave. I understand the 2 are 10km apart and not exactly walkable. We’re going in late September so the shuttle bus won’t be in operation.

Ahh I was there in 1977 and yes we used the train to venture through. I will never forget being there. I have reflected many many times since 😍😁

human fish is also known as Proteus or if we want to be more specific,... Proteus anguinus anginus (Laurenti 1768).
Thanks for your input. Appreciated 🤗
