I remember that convecting feeling how terrible, but when I knelt and asked Jesus to come in and save my soul, and accepted Him by faith and what a wonderful feeling when I stood up. I felt like I could fly away. What a Savior. Thank you Jesus
Soul stirring song, love these men and their passionate singing ministry Keep singing for God, hope to see you one day, if not on earth for sure in Heaven because the blood has washed away my sins
Like he sung in this song...,"Only one thing will matter, when the time shall come to die. The treasures of this world won't mean a thing. But the joy of knowing Jesus, will vanish all my fears, for He took away death's sting." Now, Bro. Norman knows its all true.
I don't think I will ever forget this devastating announcement. I had just been to Barbourville, KY to their concert on September 6th, 2014 at The Fall Street Festival. They were all in their street clothes and so relaxed. I had about a 20 minute conversation with Mr Norman. I will always remember our little chat, his great voice, musical talents, his testimony, that big smile, his sincere love for his LORD and the many hugs he shared with everyone. Reagan has this CD of his "funny and silly" songs. After the concert, I caught up with him as he stepped off the stage. I told him I was hoping he would sing the "Chicken Eatin' Preacher" song. He asked "if I would like to hear it?" I said, "oh would you". He picked up his guitar, which was still around and neck and began to sing. He had a crowd when he finished. I told him how much I appreciated it, and that he had made my day. Then he said, "We don't have to be on stage to sing." Now just how profound is that? This is the most Godly an Humble group of men I have ever seen. It's all about GOD with them,, never about themselves. Prayers for them and their families as they continue in GOD'S service.
Oct 15, 2014 "It is with our deepest sorrow that we have to inform you of the death of our beloved tenor singer, Norman Wilson. He went to be with Jesus today, October 15, at... apporximately 2:30 pm. Norman was doing one of the things that he loved the most when God called him home - bear hunting with his buddies. It appears that he had a heart attack. Those with him say that he died peacefully and with a smile on his face. Please keep Norman's wife, Kaye, his family, and the Quartet in your prayers." We'll see you soon, Brother!
