Hi Gina! I just recently have gotten my certification through Norvell for spray tanning and plan to become a mobile spray tan artist. Your videos have become so helpful to me to gain more information and insight of how to start in this business which I appreciate so much. I have some questions though I’m hoping you may be able to answer. Do I need liability insurance or do consent forms suffice? Do I need to offer sticky feet as I have heard mixed reviews that some people use them and some don’t and just use towels in their tent? Is barrier cream just a fancy word for lotion or do I actually need the barrier cream that Norvell offers or is regular lotions fine? Are there certain body washes I tell my clients to stay away from before a tan? I have heard some body washes or things could possibly turn someone green, what happens if someone turns green during an appointment? Do I have to offer disposable bras and thongs if I’m going to someone’s home (people usually will have something to wear in their home or just go nude right)? I heard blondes can get dyed from the solution, and I did purchase disposable caps but that won’t fully protect their hair from solution as it’s mesh, what do you do for your blonde clients? Lastly, I understand I need an extraction fan to catch overspray, since I am just starting out I can’t invest in an actual one yet but I heard you can make your own with a box fan and a filter, have you tried this or have you heard of anyone using one like this and it working fine?
