I had the pleasure to attend Dr. Ornishs program, lowered my A1C, lost 28 lbs. Thank you for a lovely interview!

I am from India and for ages we had the wisdom about foods good for us. But over the last few decades we lost our way and aped the west and are now reaping the rewards in the form of various lifestyle diseases. Thankfully, we are slowly realising our mistakes and people are reversing their chronic conditions in a few months by going off all animal foods, eggs and dairy and including fruits vegetables and complex carbs.

Unfortunately I missed this live, but what an amazing interview, Dr. Ornish is one of the legends! I'm so blessed that I found him and the other WFPB Lifestyle med docs that we know and love, so early in life (High school) when I switched to WFPB, and they have been major role models for me ever since as a future physician myself! Thank you as usual, Chef AJ and Dr. Ornish!

Undo It opened my eyes to the fact that WFPB no Oil eating and daily exercise might not be enough. I've done several things to stress less and love more. It's making a difference. Thank you, Dr. Ornish.

Such a great interview. Thank you both for what you are doing to bring this information to the world. Dr. Ornish changed my life and the lives of my family members. I read Preventing and Reversing Heart Disease 12 years ago and have been vegetarian and then vegan ever since. The years go by, our friends and family have gotten heart disease, alzheimers, diabetes etc and we continue to be healthy and active. I want to live by example for ALL my loved ones so they see they can have this for themselves.

Another favorite interview. He seems like such a grounded, whole hearted soul. I’m definitely buying his book. I have the other ones from long ago but because I don’t have heart issues ( but interested in anti aging) I never embraced the heart books. But now- sounds like this new book has everything

I also wasnt limiting oil much, eating chips and hummus half of the week. And i hadnt reduced my salt much though all of my meals are wfpb, no tv dinners. Any advice? I would Love to lower mine that much

Hi Chef AJ. Dr. Ornish has been around a long time and I have always respected his opinions. Somewhat disappointed for him to report on a public venue that Dr. Atkins died from heart disease. Dr. Atkins died from a head injury that resulted from a fall while walking to work at the age of 72. He had a heart issue called cardiomyopathy but the cause of that is a viral infection, not diet. Hope Dr. Ornish doesn't continue to report this. Enjoy listening to you and your many guests. Happy New Year!!
