The nostalgia. I used to visit this city with my virtual friends back in 2013, I miss those days, I never managed to talk to them again and I hope they are well. sometimes I like to hear WoW music such as this one, to remember my time with them. Rui, Juh, Michell, Andre, Kaioh, Jay and Samuel, I wish you all the best, wherever you are.
Same thing here, used to visit this city with my virtual friends back in 2013, I never managed to talk to them again and I hope they are well. sometimes I like to hear WoW music such as this one, to remember my time with them.
I wouldn't say it was amazing all the way through tbh. Biggest content drought in the game's history, worst raid (toc), and introduced LFD. I would say the first half was top notch though.
Cold logic deemed this world was not worth saving. Cold logic, however, does not account for the power of free will. It's up to each of us to prove this is a world worth saving. That our lives... that our lives are worth living.
+Jackie Sarsfield Cold logic deemed this world was no-- Cold logic deemed this world not worth saving. Cold lo-- Cold logic deemed this world not worth sav-- Cold logic ... I don't like being in Dalaran on days when raids reset. The transmog farmers all turn in their quests at the same time.
By what right do you think to enter heaven? Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. That name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
It's good this place had such great music; I remember just jumping up and down the steps of the bank waiting for a tank on Dungeon Finder...only to get Occulus >.
Yea... was such a shame too. First half was alright, but we started to see and feel the decline of the design philosophy of the game was wrath progressed. Dual spec, LFD, tanking being much easier, healing being a spam fest, DPS not needing to worry about aggro as much... the list seems to go on and on. With that said, wrath still had some great and fun aspects about it.
I really missed the old wow , i remember in this town flying around and inspecting people , waiting for bg que , talking and having fun with friends , looking for members for ICC , blizzard.. wake up , bring WoW back.. after the WOTLK , wow is dead..
Yes "Old" wow. Where you had server crashes, times when you could be spawn camped like it was nothing. How much of a chance did you give Pandaria or Cata?
Kyru Shelton its not really the cleanliness of the game that made it what it was. It was how the game felt. WoW was a whole other world. Every bit had to be explored, and making friends along the way was part of the experience. Streamlining everything in the game eventually led to the dulling of WoW. I remember spending hours traveling from once city or zone to another for the first time, occasionally passing people also on their way somewhere, or clearing my first raid with my guild. These things werent about difficulty level, or stats, or gear. They were about experience. The real problem is that everyone has already had their time to experience WoW. We all miss that feeling of walking into stormwind or orgrimar for the first time completely awestruck at how a game could be so immersive. WoW is dying. But its not why everyone thinks. WoW is dying because its a game of experience. Once youve run out of that feeling of experience and wonder, its over.
Yes, the amazing artists creating the music for these zones, those are the real heroes. I have so many zones I could just sit in and listen. Sholazar basin, crystal song forest, ...what was teldrassil, all the night elf zone music really. Stormsong valley has an amazing zone track, Zuldazar....so amazing!!
Dalaran a bustling city with so much to do, but I eschewed the hustle and bustle and preferred the relative calm of the Underbelly inn. But that still didn't stop me from living it up in the city. Fishing in the sewers for the giant rat, fishing in the fountain for coins, fishing outside the prison for the footlocker key, doing fishing dailies (yup lotta fishing). Doing cooking dailies and hoping it was the wine and cheese one so I wouldn't have to actually cook anything. Waiting around for those sum-bitch magic books to spawn so I could get my familiar mini-pet. And my friend back in the early days of Wrath, when he first found an Underbelly Elixir and turned into a tuskaar he got asked so many times now that happened.
Wow, I remember when I got to the level you have to be to get in this city and I really thought I was big stuff lol. This place always froze up my computer for a long time.
15 000 gold was a fortune back then. By grinding the necessary materials I managed to lower it to about 8000 gold and it was still almost everything I owned but by god was it worth it. It was the only mount I used for the entire duration of the expansion and then some.
But the nostalgia of playing with rc cars, buying toys there, waiting for bgs while talking to people, finding ways to fly inside the city, watching people come to the perch and seeing all the cool new mounts, etc. It felt like a mall and looked just like one too. It also had that nice "icy" feel to the game that new polished feel too. This was the only expansion that had a solid theme.
it is now, it is now makes me sad when I go for nostalgia to see empty streets, that place was absolutely packed before cata, now its just another city that's not relevant to anyone, so empty :(
This was the beginning of the end folks...why beautiful and awesome....the beginning of the end for wow....garrisons killed it. The once great WOW is dead. RIP wow RIP!
Ahh Dalaran how I was jealous of my friends for being able to enter the city. I couldn't even enter without getting a blue screen after a few minutes. That is until I got a new computer a couple months after the expansion came out.
I posted this comment two years ago. I didn't even remember writing it until you said something in response to it. Also, I never said "Check out my vids guys!" I was merely making a point to my friend Wowmusicable.
Guys, We should all stop saying ,, I miss the old WoW,, ore ,,Wod sucks,, Instead of this we should all make Wow to that what it was before. Play wow like you want to play it and people will follow
I really miss Vanilla, BC and WOTLK, I still remember my dad coming home with the expansion and I played it religiously XD. I hate to say it but thank God for private servers keeping it alive. They need to put legacy servers in, they really do
FixFireFlank Well it gets a tad loud around 00:35 sounding a bit grandiloquent. Also the high pitch instrument around 03:05 is a tad irritating. I usually forget to turn music back on after that. When Lich King was the latest expansion this place was absurdly crowded which really sucked for doing the local dailies and NPC load times, though now it's almost a ghost town.
I appreciate your opinion mate, but if you don't enjoy my music then don't watch my videos. Please show respect for the tastes of others and what they enjoy. ;)
There's two things I remember about Dalaran. This music and the lag
+Austin Green Yeah, definitely the lag, so many players in that narrow city.
+Wowmusicable still beats Stormshield and Warspear by a landslide as my favorite capital
ive experienced 1fps in Dalaran very frustrating
+Austin Green Lagaran! XD
Austin Green lagaran
You can say what you want about Blizzard, but they make phenomenal music. It always fits within the zone.
Blizzard is the best company, and not becouse of wow;)
Glassland
Glassland I agree with you, the music many is so beautiful. I know games but none of them have as good music as World of Warcraft.
@@escipioafri4855 That comment aged so badly :/
i used to think the same tho
This music reminds me how much time i spent in this city
The nostalgia. Sometimes I just want to go back to those bittersweet times and see my old friends again.
Getting inside Dalaran when your PC had 2 GB RAM. The pain is almost...palpable.
Fuck I thought I was the only one hahaha that shit was a complete stop upon landing xD Fuck I miss this place...
+Stefan773 Luckily I never experienced this. Had a good PC :D
Wrath of the lich king was just soo fucking well done and just so fucking perfect....after that....it just died.
ya its totally dead.....
+SchooledLog Cataclysm was a fitting title lol
The lag I used to endure here....
Waiting 5 minutes just for my character to appear... Christ...
Oh yes. you are damn right about that :b
IM HAVING A NOSTALGIA ATTACK I nearly cried. So beautiful.
Thepigcam True story! :D This music hitted sooo hard the first time I've heard it, and it still does.
Come back
Same thing here, used to visit this city with my virtual friends back in 2013, I never managed to talk to them again and I hope they are well. sometimes I like to hear WoW music such as this one, to remember my time with them.
why cant it still be wrath, was so amazing all the way through, best era for this game.
No king rules forever...
Dude you got me feels :(
I wouldn't say it was amazing all the way through tbh. Biggest content drought in the game's history, worst raid (toc), and introduced LFD.
I would say the first half was top notch though.
I remember getting up when the sun was first rising, and looging in and hearing this music playing
logging*
m8
fukkkk me too ahhahahah
the nostalgia of waiting here for a raid or random dungeon at lvl 80 whilst people gathered and had a laugh, i miss WoTLK
The lag... It is fucking real here
If you're playing a toaster yes
I remember the first time I entered "Dalaran". I wandered around a bit and immediately found a way to jump off and fall to my death. lol...
So much goddamn nostalgia ;~; tears flowing from my eyes make it stop Dx
:(((((
Its too much to bear damn, i havent even played since cata :'(
Cold logic deemed this world was not worth saving. Cold logic, however, does not account for the power of free will. It's up to each of us to prove this is a world worth saving.

I don't like being in Dalaran on days when raids reset. The transmog farmers all turn in their quests at the same time.
When I die I want this shit to be played when I will ascend into great heaven's gate.
me three
;)
good luck with that.
no, you need to go back to your body or rezz sickness for 10 min :p
By what right do you think to enter heaven?
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Damn I miss this :(

***** Fuck oculus
For some reason this reminds me of making jewels
Probably because WotLK was the best expansion for jewelcrafting.
Because of that annoying CUSHK CUSHK CUSHK sound spammed near the North bank.
so true xD
god i miss playing old wow but wrath was the beginning of the end
Yea... was such a shame too. First half was alright, but we started to see and feel the decline of the design philosophy of the game was wrath progressed. 80% of wotlk was this music, tbh
I dunno, Wintergrasp had fantastic music.
I really missed the old wow , i remember in this town flying around and inspecting people , waiting for bg que , talking and having fun with friends , looking for members for ICC , blizzard.. wake up , bring WoW back.. after the WOTLK , wow is dead..

Thank you so much for bringing back some of the greatest memories I have. I will always cherish them.
THE MIGHT OF DALARAN HAS ARRIVED!!!
Never had so much goose bumps at once
00:00 nostalgia kicked me in the stomach :D

God, I love this score
And now Dalaran is gone in The War Within... RIP one of my favorite cities.

/cast Ancient Portal: Dalaran
OMG the nostalgia! It burns!
I just my Hearthstone back to Dalaran.Never gonna leave this place ever again!
La musique est à l'image de sa ville : sublime
I remember when I first went to Dalaran, the game ran at a whopping 2fps on a 64mb graphics card. It was then I realised a had to upgrade my system.
I will always remember this game... no matter what 😢

Yep nostalgia burns a LOT, to many memories
god the nostalgia :'( time does fly by :
Wow, I remember when I got to the level you have to be to get in this city and I really thought I was big stuff lol. This place always froze up my computer for a long time.
my favourite town music!
returning to Dalaran after a raid...
RIP dalarn... Loved that city
The Ruler of Dalaran is no more than the annoying lag..
Ah, memories... XD
The narrow streets are nice I think, they give Dalaran a unique feel
Dalaran was the best city and oh lord ive bin playing since the end of vanilla :O
Easily one of the best game soundtracks ever.
The days i spend idling upon the steps of Ally bank with my chopper back in the days that thing was worth month of farming.
15 000 gold was a fortune back then. By grinding the necessary materials I managed to lower it to about 8000 gold and it was still almost everything I owned but by god was it worth it. It was the only mount I used for the entire duration of the expansion and then some.

citizens of dalaran raise your eye's to the sky
this is the sound of loneliness
it is now, it is now
makes me sad when I go for nostalgia to see empty streets, that place was absolutely packed before cata, now its just another city that's not relevant to anyone, so empty :(
this music is relaxing best music in wow
My main proublem is that my videos are "pointless" and have no plot. while yours on the other hand are amazing ;)
Best music Blizz ever made. :')
@Wowmusicable Thanks you! Now i feel like im not a total loser! =3
Dalalagg FTW!!
amazing great music
This was the beginning of the end folks...why beautiful and awesome....the beginning of the end for wow....garrisons killed it. The once great WOW is dead. RIP wow RIP!
Also know as Lagaran..it is a very awesome but to small,i liked Shattrah City more for the open space it has ;)
Must not cry.... ;~;
truuuu D.:
Ahh Dalaran how I was jealous of my friends for being able to enter the city. I couldn't even enter without getting a blue screen after a few minutes. That is until I got a new computer a couple months after the expansion came out.
WHAT A TOUCHED MUSIC
*_CITIZENS OF DALARAN!..._*
To be fair, Dalaran did feel a lot more like a true city. Shattrath...not so much. It did lag a lot more, that's very true.
i sure as hell like it ;p
if they made if bigger would have to change the zone it originally was from a some of it was destroyed/taken over by undead originally
Interesting comments, I never had any problems in Dalaran. Is it my connection, computer or low population realm... or all of them?
thx
I posted this comment two years ago. I didn't even remember writing it until you said something in response to it. Also, I never said "Check out my vids guys!" I was merely making a point to my friend Wowmusicable.
Guys,
We should all stop saying ,, I miss the old WoW,, ore ,,Wod sucks,, Instead of this we should all make Wow to that what it was before. Play wow like you want to play it and people will follow
Peter Enis no they won't
joe are you sorry
I was always there...
anybody know what instrument that is? the bag pipe sounding one lol
It's a Duduk
Thank you!
DAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMN
I really miss Vanilla, BC and WOTLK, I still remember my dad coming home with the expansion and I played it religiously XD. I hate to say it but thank God for private servers keeping it alive. They need to put legacy servers in, they really do
This sounds like Civilization music
Pressed ctrl-m before it become too loud in this zone.
How could you mute such an awesome song as this?!
Mage's Version of Heaven Dalaran
its a city in the sky how big can u make it
Dalaran is the only city I have em ever ever muted the music to
best city in the world
Lmao, Dalaran is now a ghost town XDDDDD
No, I am not gay. Please don't insult others, its not very nice ;).
WOTLK sure was fun /cry
This is the only good thing that came out of WOTLK
Dal was so much better than sw
Earth Quake server
Easily the music track in WoW
I appreciate your opinion mate, but if you don't enjoy my music then don't watch my videos. Please show respect for the tastes of others and what they enjoy. ;)
Damn you blizzard you ruined the game
Please don't beg for views on other videos, it's not very nice.
