Yeah, and Link is so picky that if he says it's good, I'd always be willing to try. Whereas Rhett is kinda odd with his food likes and Josh is a madman who eats anything so his opinions aren't valid.

I tried it the next day after watching that episode as we happened to have a jar of Pepperoncini's in the fridge. Taste wise was great, but it makes the bread soggy, which I don't like.

I'm so shocked, I actually agree with link for once. Tachini and chocolate is a natural progression that already exists in brownies, Halva, and many other desserts & snacks

I'm kind of surprised Rhett wouldn't try the tahini and brownie batter combo. He's usually a pretty adventurous eater, and sesame is nutty like peanut butter. Also it's pretty common to use sesame in desserts in a lot of places around the world. In fact, here in the US an old, traditional sweet treat in Charleston, SC is the benne wafer, which is made with sesame seeds and sugar. And let me tell you, they are ADDICTING!

I like this episode because no one else is involved besides Rhett and Link, and they're talking to eachother instead of us. It's kind of a unique episode in the sense that it doesn't feel like typical GMM, this episode feels like it's just two friends spending time together on film. Has a bit more of a GMMore vibe to it as well
Chocolate halva is a thing. Look it up, and try it. That would be what the tahini and brownie batter together tastes like, only crunchy!
I feel like crunchy is not an accurate description, yet can't think of a better word for it either. Halva has such a particular texture and I've never been able to describe it adequately! But yes the flavour combo makes sense for sure.

What Rhett don’t know is that actually in the middle east (l’m from Lebanon) tahini is actually consumed not only with salty things like in a hummus but also we put it just like Link did in some sweet things especially in a carob molasses ( don’t know if it is the wright translation but in arabic it’s pronounced debs el kharroub) 😁

I literally ate chips and salsa last night for supper!!! I’ve always found chips and salsa as a somewhat comfort food, especially with the awesome crunch of the chip and taste of the chip and salsa combine in the right ways possible
I eat chips and salsa for a meal more regularly than I’d like to admit.

Chocolate and tahini is awesome- it’s called marbled chocolate halvah when it has sugar in it. I bet that tasted fantastic. Halvah is one of the best things ever.

Rhett should've listened to Link and tried the brownie batter with some Tahini. Tahini is the main ingredient in a dessert in Lebanon and other Arab countries called Halawa. There is a version of that dessert called chocolate Halawa which has a similar flavor profile to Link's little concoction.

I'm a huge fan of dipping regular potato chips in peanut butter. Ruffles or Kettle Chips are my go to. I also like dipping Cheetos in peanut butter. It reminds me of those Keebler cheese cracker w/ peanut butter sandwiches you find at gas stations and convenience stores.

I don't know that I've ever tried anything like Ruffles, but I eat peanut butter and tortilla chips a lot. So good. My husband always acts like I'm crazy when I do it, but it makes perfect sense to me. Like a crunchy peanut butter sandwich.

The relish reminded me that there’s something called Pickle de Gallo, it’s literally pico de gallo but with pickles instead of tomatoes. And it is shockingly good.

On a side note buttercream is the best thing alternate with tortilla chips. Because it tastes like kettle corn.

I really wish I could’ve given some recommendations before this. I have been dipping tortilla chips in Oikos triple zero yogurt, vanilla ice cream, and strawberry fluff for years because it is almost superior to chips and salsa.
I like the hint of lime tortilla chips with vanilla yogurt. Glad I'm not a weirdo for liking tortilla chips with yogurt.
