Potawatomi = Annishnaabe as well. Please don't forget us. Also, what that man called "The New World" is what we call HOME. Meegwetch.

This outfit is a piece of fine art, but the entire video, which explains valuable information about the outfit, is the real masterpiece. WORTH REMEMBERING

So interesting - I really enjoyed this.
Now I know what a vamp is and that I love skillfully-arranged brooches. I also love hearing about the diverse materials that made this outfit possible, including porcupine quills and deer hide. It's like being wrapped in nature itself. Fascinating. 🙂

Very nice and interesting to watch, living right in the heart of the Great Lakes, on the Canadian side , seeing (among others)
the Anishinaabe Flag flying in front of our City Hall, right from my apartment-window on the sixth floor. Thank you!

Very interesting. I wonder how the outfit ended at the Smithsonian.

True international trade and cultural integrations ... unfortunately under the weighty and bloody foot of colonialization.

Very little respect for the British...

We think the outfit shows great respect for the British and we tried to convey that in the video.

You think the French were any better? They attempted to exterminate the Biloxi, Natchez, Caddo and Chickasaw. However, the Chickasaw stomped them thoroughly. There were other tribes the French succeeded in wiping out. The Spanish? They wiped out dozens of tribes in Florida and Georgia. The Appalachian mountains are named for the Muskogee speaking Apalachee tribe that the Spanish exterminated. The Dutch did their own fair share on a smaller scale. If Native Americans can not hate white people, you can get a clue and not hate nationalities. That's small minded and moronic.
