Years ago shane called an extension but the ref didn't hear it. Since shane is partially deaf he may have said it too quiet. It wasn't a big deal though since his opponent had good sportsmanship and said he called it. The crowd is kind of making fun of that situation by making noise so the extension is heard.

At 23:40 Jayson requests the referee clean something on the table and the clock is stopped. Why was the clock stopped here but not for Jeremy Jones later in the series?

The reasoning why is because it was an insect that was effecting a player from taking a shot.... JJ just wanted the ball cleaned, it will only stop when something is affecting a player from taking a shot.

I m a snooker and billiards fan but would you stop making comparisions betwwen the two games...I understand doing so twenty years ago when billiards got more attention internationally and somehow commentaters felt the need to do so......yes in my opinion.TOP snooker players would probably win 100 % of the time at snooker against top pool players and snooker players have a better chance at winning playing billiards just by the bare fact that luck , flukes good and bad rolls occur more often when playing pool ... but the knowledge, and creativity acquired by pool players playing their game is irreplaceable,

I believe the way the tourney is set up, they do scottish doubles 9 one day and singles the other two. The idea is that since the tourney goes off points, one match = one point. So here Jayson earned one point for team Europe. The first team to 11 points seen in the top left corner advances further in the tourney.

I know it is this day an age and pool is trying to be more "friendly" for the public etc.....but still. I think it is a disgrace that booing and cheering in the way seen here is allowed. Just tell people to shut up really. Snooker have no problems with this and the sport is still popular.
