You know what's harder than peaceful mode adventure mode so basically you can't break blocks but if you get lucky a creeper inside the cave and blow the wall up then you have to get all 12 in the portal if you have the right seed then you have to kill the ender dragon and its basically impossible to get a blaze since you have to build to them and a ender man beacuse you have no amour the only way you could actully get to a forteres is ender pears.
You can also beat Peaceful Mode in 1.8.9 because Clerics trade Eyes of Ender. I used this method, and although I didn't time it, the run probably took about 5 hours in total.
