    Very useful video here, thanks! It's currently tough to physically play that much WoE in Spain because not that many people have it already. However, I share your thoughts on this set's fun potential. Hoping to see you play it more on stream!

    I've only played a handful of WoE decks but I've been loving my time so far. It's potentially my favourite alongside MM, though I probably need to spend more time with it before I can truly decide. (I'm in the UK and received my decks less than a month ago.) I love how board focused it is, plus Ekwidon are an awesome addition IMO.
    My one gripe is that getting a bad token in an otherwise good deck hits differently. Having Trooper/Warrior/Strange Shell when you could've had Scholar/Berserker/Prospector feels worse than simply not having specific powerful combos.

      100%, getting a really nice set of cards with a crappy token is a real feels-bad moment, definitely agree. You can almost taste the synergies that could've been with a better token lol!

    I have a deck with 2 befuddles, 1 abyssal sight, 1 allusions of grandeur, and The Ulfberht device. My friends hate it more than my strongest decks

      Wow. . . that does sound absolutely disgusting lol!

      I got shiverings all down my spine just imagining having to go against that XD

      Can it win with 7 chain start?

      @@principleshipcoleoid8095 Don't get me wrong, it's not a great deck, it's just really annoying and dependent on getting the ulfberht device as quickly as possible

    Easily the Best/Most fun set. The only real downsides are Hallafest being terribly designed and the poor token balancing. The 2nd strongest card in the set is Catch and Release.

      Catch and Release is SO GOOD!! And yeah I wish tokens had been balanced a little better for sure.

    I love rogue operation in star alliance but I have a deck with 4 of them.

    It´s generally super fun, but I really don´t like how WoE finished to kill all the mid-range decks already suffering in the crush meta, destroying even more the value of old collections.

    Tokens are pretty neet and the mechanic seems very well thought out, but to be honest, with haunted and scrap on the horizon I'm forced to admit that I'm much more excited for Grim Reminders as that set seems likely to deliver a consistency and efficiency that Winds of Exchange is sorely lacking.

    • @aembermedes
      @aembermedes  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Totally, Grim Reminders is gonna have some wild stuff in terms of efficiency! It'll feel nice playing a set where you don't feel at risk of tokenizing a critical card half the time you ever make a token creature lol! That consistency will be great for sure.

      I love the "lack of consistency" personnally, that's how I like to play KF... because it's actually a bonus of surprise: playing the same deck never felt so rewarding and fun because the games are so different !! I love it :D

    I like all sets, but if I were to rank them windex ends up in the bottom along with AoA. The sealed experience (my preferred method to get to know a new deck) is a complete mess because of the high power disparity among decks.
