Michael Jackson Remembered In Hometown

Weeks after his death, a steady stream of fans continues to visit Gary, Indiana where pop star Michael Jackson was born. Even though Jackson visited only once after becoming a star, people in Gary, an economically depressed city, feel a strong bond with the star and his family. On Friday, more than six thousand fans gathered in Gary for a memorial service to the King of Pop. And as VOA's Kane Farabaugh reports, plans are underway to build a museum and memorial to the late singer.

I visited the home of the Jacksons yesterday, it was a very emotional experience, something I wanted to do being a fan of Michael and the Jackson 5. The town is almost abandoned unfortunately. RIP Michael.

Hoping that the house the Jacksons lived be maintained because I'm really wishing all my life to see it / them even in you tube if am not be able to see it / them in personal.....i celebrated my birthday last May 1 and as always,Michael is included in my prayers......thanking God for another year and thanking God for giving us a wonderful person like Michael who's for me is an angel sent from heaven....i even asked my daughter a birthday gift...Michael's records,Michael's life story books....apparel.....anything that has MJ..... i simply love Michael
