Tbh, I've read Jojolion, and I love how much he's more of an asshole and antihero than even Johnny Joestar. But he's probably the second weakest Jojo to me, Giorno just being the worst. Adore his relationship with Yasuho though.
I’m not gonna argue here it’s not worth it. I’m just stating that although caught up to chapter 100 JoJolion, gappy is 6th in terms of jojo, and scrapes top 10 by a hair. While I plan to reread the manga parts (6-8) I will say I thoroughly enjoyed jojolion but don’t have a whole lot of love for gappy compared to my top 3, Joseph, gyro and Josuke.
The thumbnail got me interested... I'm glad Kira is such an appreciated character, he really deserves it. He's an amazingly well-written character overall. I could go on and on about what makes him a really great villain. Easily one of my favourites of all time.

The fact that speedwagon didnt win is honestly weird to me, speedwagon is my favourite jojo character and im not even joking, robert started off as a gangster living life in the cold streets of the london slums, his whole life he was shown only evil and greed so he became evil and greedy but after shown compassion by jonthan he realises that nobility does exist and decides to change his life, he follows jonathan in his quest to save the world, after jonathans passing he choses to keep being noble and assists erina in raising Joseph and eventually creates an entire monopoly which sustains the bizarre adventures of jojo for DECADES, the greatest side character by far

I like to think that DIO from part 6 twhen compared to 3 started to remember the thrill of fighting, all those negative thoughts againts the joestars.Getting more and more carried on and leaving behind that estoic figure and all that wisdom he portrays in part 6
For my takes, it would be; Favorite Joestar's - Jonathan and Giorno. (It's very unfortunate to me to see Jonathan near the very bottom, but seeing Giorno at the top made it all better for me. Jonathan deserved so much more and it was sad his time and life cut short. I'm a sucker for the honourable hero type of character, so I fell in love with him right away. And even though he may be as jacked the Hulk, he's still a precious baby, I don't care what anyone says. As for Giorno, I always loved the idea of a character having two biological fathers and inheriting the best traits from both of them. The heart and soul of Jonathan, along with the mind and cunning of Dio definitely made for an amazing character. Plus, Gold Experience is my favorite stand, so it gives extra points to Giorno for that.) Favorite JoBro's - Polnareff and Bruno. (If this video came out a month ago, I would have said YASUHO and Bruno, but I've grown incredibly attached to Polnareff lately from a recent rewatch of part 3 and he really is an amazing character. I love him, he's proof you don't need eyebrows to be a badass. But he'd never top Bruno... Bruno is just, perfection. Definitely in my silly opinion to be one of the best written character's in the whole series.) Favorite Antagonists - Both Dio's (I class them both as one character) and Diavolo. (I admit it, I'm a rabid Dio fangirl, but I genuinely love him and his role in the grand scheme of everything, plus he always stole the show for me whenever he was on screen/manga pages. And as for Diavolo, I've always loved him, even before the anime for part 5 came out, way back when a lot of people didn't like him as much and how much crap he got, despite how much of a great villain I think he is. But seeing him get adapted into the anime after all that time made me so happy, and even happier to see the outpour of love the anime only people now have for him. I fangirled so hard during the fight with Bruno and also when he fully revealed himself. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyway, stupid gushing and fangirling aside, I do also think it's dumb that a lot of people didn't choose their MULTIPLE favorites when the poll was MULTIPLE choice.

I see why you say this but there are multiple videos talking about why Giorno is a better and deeper character than people are willing to give credit for. One of the bigger problems is that his part in particular, Golden Wind shares the spotlight with many of the other cast members. So we all know who they are but unless you're willing to dig deeper there won't be much of them immediately present. Part of it is also why I think people don't find Jonathan popular. They don't find him entertaining to watch and they find his personality terrible because it's not flashy like Joseph or Jotaro who are probably THE flashiest characters (in different ways). and coincidentally the most popular. If you read this far and are willing to I highly reccomend watching one or two videos analyzing Giorno if you haven't already. All the JoJo's are great in their own ways and while it's fine to have an opinion i personally think we should educate ourselves on the things we dislike so that. At least if we still dislike it. (Like me with Part 2 Joseph. Part 3 is best though) we have a good understanding of why others don't Tl;Dr I don't think the hate or dislike for Giorno from a lot of fans is valid and people far smarter than me have already talked about why
Jolyne and Johnny being low is, as Kaleb stated in the video, the result of NOT excluding anime-only’s from the poll. If you try to rank all characters based on fan favoritism, but have a large chubk of the fanbase that HASN’T been exposed to ALL characters, the results will inevitably be skewed

Like compared to weather report, pucci, emporio, annasui, she didn't have a really cool stand, her design wasn't that interesting and generally felt like it was underused. While I plan to reread the manga parts (6-8) I will say I thoroughly enjoyed jojolion but don’t have a whole lot of love for gappy compared to my top 3, Joseph, gyro and Josuke.

I'm glad Kira is such an appreciated character, he really deserves it. He's an amazingly well-written character overall. I could go on and on about what makes him a really great villain. Easily one of my favourites of all time.

The fact that speedwagon didnt win is honestly weird to me, speedwagon is my favourite jojo character and im not even joking, robert started off as a gangster living life in the cold streets of the london slums, his whole life he was shown only evil and greed so he became evil and greedy but after shown compassion by jonthan he realises that nobility does exist and decides to change his life, he follows jonathan in his quest to save the world, after jonathans passing he choses to keep being noble and assists erina in raising Joseph and eventually creates an entire monopoly which sustains the bizarre adventures of jojo for DECADES, the greatest side character by far

For my takes, it would be;
Favorite Joestar's - Jonathan and Giorno. (It's very unfortunate to me to see Jonathan near the very bottom, but seeing Giorno at the top made it all better for me. Jonathan deserved so much more and it was sad his time and life cut short. I'm a sucker for the honourable hero type of character, so I fell in love with him right away. And even though he may be as jacked the Hulk, he's still a precious baby, I don't care what anyone says. As for Giorno, I always loved the idea of a character having two biological fathers and inheriting the best traits from both of them. The heart and soul of Jonathan, along with the mind and cunning of Dio definitely made for an amazing character. Plus, Gold Experience is my favorite stand, so it gives extra points to Giorno for that.)
Favorite JoBro's - Polnareff and Bruno. (If this video came out a month ago, I would have said YASUHO and Bruno, but I've grown incredibly attached to Polnareff lately from a recent rewatch of part 3 and he really is an amazing character. I love him, he's proof you don't need eyebrows to be a badass. But he'd never top Bruno... Bruno is just, perfection. Definitely in my silly opinion to be one of the best written character's in the whole series.)
Favorite Antagonists - Both Dio's (I class them both as one character) and Diavolo. (I admit it, I'm a rabid Dio fangirl, but I genuinely love him and his role in the grand scheme of everything, plus he always stole the show for me whenever he was on screen/manga pages. And as for Diavolo, I've always loved him, even before the anime for part 5 came out, way back when a lot of people didn't like him as much and how much crap he got, despite how much of a great villain I think he is. But seeing him get adapted into the anime after all that time made me so happy, and even happier to see the outpour of love the anime only people now have for him. I fangirled so hard during the fight with Bruno and also when he fully revealed himself.

I've seen a lot of people with this opinion and I respectfully disagree. I see why you say this but there are multiple videos talking about why Giorno is a better and deeper character than people are willing to give credit for. One of the bigger problems is that his part in particular, Golden Wind shares the spotlight with many of the other cast members. So we all know who they are but unless you're willing to dig deeper there won't be much of them immediately present.
Part of it is also why I think people don't find Jonathan popular. They don't find him entertaining to watch and they find his personality terrible because it's not flashy like Joseph or Jotaro who are probably THE flashiest characters (in different ways). and coincidentally the most popular.
If you read this far and are willing to I highly reccomend watching one or two videos analyzing Giorno if you haven't already.
All the JoJo's are great in their own ways and while it's fine to have an opinion i personally think we should educate ourselves on the things we dislike so that. At least if we still dislike it. (Like me with Part 2 Joseph. Part 3 is best though) we have a good understanding of why others don't

Jolyne and Johnny being low is, as Kaleb stated in the video, the result of NOT excluding anime-only’s from the poll. If you try to rank all characters based on fan favoritism, but have a large chubk of the fanbase that HASN’T been exposed to ALL characters, the results will inevitably be skewed

@@lick816 tbf i really don't hate stone ocean, but hermes felt like the least interesting character between all the main ones. Like compared to weather report, pucci, emporio, annasui, she didn't have a really cool stand, her design wasn't that interesting and generally felt like it was underused. She's not bad as a character but i think she was really outshined by other ones.

Honestly seeing Pucci, Yasuho, Gappy and Hermes so low and seeing Giorno so high just made me lose faith in humanity.

Damn, my biggest beef with these rankings is my boy Jawnny Jawstar. IMO he’s the most relatable, most humanized and most dynamic JoJo.
As a person who have read Steel Ball Run, I will always prefer Bruno over Gyro. He is my favorite JoJo Character after all.

Bruno used to be overshadowed by Gyro, so much so that you couldn't even mention anything good about Bruno without being bombarded by comments saying that Gyro was better. I'm glad that the anime boosted his popularity and he's given the appreciation that he deserves by the community.

And even for the "writing" part. Hes an incredible character like development, his dynamics with the cast, the symbolism of his stand etc. He fits part 5 perfectly.
