It's one of those times where censorship just doesn't make any sense. It's showing accurate Egyptian culture but they decided to get offended for what? Is it against the religion to show those things in media? It feels like an overreaction. I’d kind of like to see a video sometime about the flow of time in JoJo’s, namely how the anime adaptation can be somewhat deceptive. People meme about moments like Dio escaping into the coffin or Jotaro stuffing his clothes full of books, and claim that there simply wasn’t enough time, when the reality is that the flow of time is more ambiguous in manga form.

The trope has existed in Japanese literature since before manga was even a thing, so the likelihood that Yukako was somehow the first is just not a conclusive statement. Just because one character became a popular version of an archetype in a medium doesn't make them the first one. Haman Karn from Gundam predates Yukako, with the manga for the Zeta and ZZ Gundam series being serialized from 1985-1987. And that's just another example of a *popular* version of a yandere character. We don't even know if she would be considered the first one in manga either, but we can say that she is one of the earliest depictions of a yandere that has influenced many after her, just like Yukako has.

I saw this in tankoubon at 1988.
After many decades past, I knew this letter became so famous in Japanese Jojo fans.
I feel so fun to be picked up and to let know such letter to jojo fans in overseas.

4:09 Also, I don't know if this is only a coincidence or maybe inspired a bit of the naming in Fire Emblem, the other three people who have completed the 77 rings challenge are called "Winsoloe, the Lion King", "Ikeman" and "Kaynegis" which are preeetty related to the names of two characters in Fire Emblem Path of Radiance. "Ikeman" being closely related to "Ike", the main protagonist and "Kaynegis" being closely related to "Caineghis", who is also called "Gallia's Lion King".
Again, I don't know if this has inspired the names of these characters or is it just a coincidence, but I found it funny to see those 3 names together.

Fun fact:in the game terraria,the stardust armor summons a blue muscular golden armored being named the”stardust guardian”,which attacks enemies by throwing rapid punches,everything from the name,and the concept alone is a reference to stardust crusades and star platinum
before terraria update 1.4, the Stardust armor didnt do rapid punches, but instead 1 punch. He was supposed to be a reference to another thing but was changed after jojo fans misunderstood
Now that you label it that way, I have reason to say that the summoner class is a jojo reference , summoners just summon their colony stands (since most summons are individual summons, only difference I know of is the stardust dragon being a single summon that gets longer the more summon slots you have.)
A little thing I find after research, the only character from the Part 7 VOMIC that has the same VA as their counterparts in EOH is Stephen Steel

More people need to be aware of Voodoo Kingdom. Whatever went wrong with the theatrical adaptation of Phantom Blood, it was worth it to get one of the most legendary Dio theme songs ever.
The Castlevania series of games has many references to jojo, the stone mask is a reoccurring item and a boss named zephyr has the looks, abilities and personality of DIO.

Yeah, I have a simple fact. Did you know that Marco d'Ambrosio, the guy who did the music score for Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, was involved with JoJo? He composed the music for the Stardust Crusaders OVA.

I’d kind of like to see a video sometime about the flow of time in JoJo’s, namely how the anime adaptation can be somewhat deceptive. People meme about moments like Dio escaping into the coffin or Jotaro stuffing his clothes full of books, and claim that there simply wasn’t enough time, when the reality is that the flow of time is more ambiguous in manga form.

The trope has existed in Japanese literature since before manga was even a thing, so the likelihood that Yukako was somehow the first is just not a conclusive statement. Just because one character became a popular version of an archetype in a medium doesn't make them the first one.
Haman Karn from Gundam predates Yukako, with the manga for the Zeta and ZZ Gundam series being serialized from 1985-1987. And that's just another example of a *popular* version of a yandere character. We don't even know if she would be considered the first one in manga either, but we can say that she is one of the earliest depictions of a yandere that has influenced many after her, just like Yukako has.
@@ChiefShibaInu Yukako Yamagishi is NOT the first yandere archetype to appear in manga or even Shounen manga, but she is certainly the character that boosted the type to mainstream popularity since the arc came when JoJo's was really popular at the time, coming off of the heels of Stardust Crusaders

i remember that yukako fact(was along with the jump crossovers/previews for heritage of the future on capcom friendly club how i got introduced to jojo.) & the ova dio reading the book issue,love voodoo kingdom(especially a remix music video for voodoo kingdom with eyes of heaven.:3) as well as soul'd out's other music(i remember videos of the parts to their music with my favorite being part 3,4,6 & 7 as it fits those parts really well.) and leon teaming up with the crusaders sounds awesome.
