Indeed. When I did my S+ Prof run I tried to do it with the speed run strat. (stealth killing woman on right, going into the house, grabbing the grenade,.... etc). Failed miserably for the first few times. The start of this run alone is tough enough, let alone getting consistent for 2 hours straight.
The hardest part was the save 15 times the rest was easy, I beat S+ on my second play through after I got Ashely armor n Chicago sweeper, no bonus knife cuz it’s count as well bonus weapon

The 15 saves are the most annoying part about it because dying sets you back like 10-15 minutes. Not a huge deal but can be annoying. For some reason I even forgot to save once and completed it with 14 saves even though I planned my route with 15 saves.

I got up to 44:35 and as I'm watching Leon do a back-to-front flip, I thought, "Huh...Okay, I guess that's normal because the speedrunner knows what he's doing." When you then said "What the fuck was that???" I burst into laughter for about ten minutes straight. I have not laughed so goddamn hard in so long, I was CRYING, and DYING my stomach was in so much pain! 😂🤣💀
Grenades can tick more times if you spam pause, making it deal more damage. This happens in every resident evil game that uses the RE engigne. Useful in the village section to guarantee kills with the nade. Also useful to count how many ganados died in that phase since Pause also paused the Speedrun timer. 30fps in the knight section makes enemy AI work slower so it misses their attacks easier in some specific situations. Particularly useful when the knight traps you in the stairs when playing as Ashley, at 30fps you can literally ignore him and run past him. It can work at higher fps too but it's more consistent at 30. 60fps in the Lago fight makes the waves go slower so you technically have an easier time killing him before the first reset. IIRC at 30 fps it's even easier but it's not allowed for speedruns? Someone can correct me if I am wrong in that part.

I saw distortions 2:05 and that was blowing most speed runners I’ve seen out of the water by like 20 minutes and then you do a sub 2 hours crazy ggs my dude.
@@georgehatzimanolakis1904 I've saw that on console it's easier to do because the camera doesn't follow where Leon is looking. But on what you can see he is doing it on pc so the trick is viable if you learn how to do it properly, it's all muscle memory

Changing to 30 fps makes hitboxes work differently so it's easier to walk pass enemies. Idk about the grenade pause tho
