Jesus josh that was a fucking gnarly one. Didn't manage to catch the qualifying so missed this. When the boys said you had a big one they meant it. Fairplay.
These are tough guys. Has a crash, shakes it out, walks down to a flatter area and sits down. No laying down when he can stand. Tough, brave lads all of them.
I watch MotoGP but I think this is crazy. The trees, rocks and everything else that can cause serious injury or death. It like watching the Isle of Man TT.
When you look at the replay, the bike was awfully close to hitting him but luckily not. He may have been pretty unlucky to have a hard stack, but at least the bike didn’t hit him. Hope you’ve pulled up alright mate. 👍🏼
Those aren't Men. ..those are boys. ..a Man wouldn't be foolish enough to ride down terrain like that at a FAST speed. ..some day he'll grow up after he hurts himself enough times
The TH-cam video that shows the top 3 runs is unbelievable. That little kid that won is fucking INSANELY fast!!! Especially when seen compared to the two guys that finished behind him.
It’s actually called football and it’s an extremely injury prone sport, my mate has just torn his ACL, MCL and completely detached his PCL. You’re comparing diving (to try and get a free kick/penalty) with actual injuries. - Smoothbrains who’ve never kicked a ball
@@aydan0161 Not even close. It’s about as dangerous as walking down the stairs or jogging. People have been paralyzed and killed riding bikes. What you described are nothing but playground injuries. In fact I bet worse injuries have happened to people getting out of the shower. Smoothbrains who chase a ball around a field and haven’t learned how to fall properly.
@@aydan0161 Depends where you are. We call it Soccer. My brain is not smooth mate, it has more ridges then most. I'm mainly talking about those bitch players who roll and cry as if they have broken a leg when someone barely touches them. Would love to see their reaction after they fall of a mountain like these mtb legends.
it looks like probably briefly dislocated his shoulder. I had the same thing happen to me when my bar end clipped a tree, the handlebar jerked back and my shoulder dislocated, it sucked.
To bad he was not wearing any armor. I get it can be cumbersome but if he had a compression suit or some arm guards at least he probably would have jumped up to finish.
Would you suggest she drags him off the track first? If somebody gets up, you dont necessarily touch them, they might not respond to well to it. But you can get the rig off the track. And thats it.
wondering no body is checking his conditions before he decided to walk away...every professional football player would have been out of game forever. tuff guys job here.
1:03 Guys, this is how you know you found the right woman.
She checks on your bike first.
Thats not his lady
Woman was so polite and calm
Was saying the same to myself, well handled
soo calm she almost seems disappointed haha
@@daylight_exe yeah she probably didnt mean it like that but my 1st instinct was this bi- 🤣
No other way to be in that situation. If she panicked, then the crashed rider might have as well
@@Alvin-xs7db lmfao! Same here 😆
Man, glad he was okay. Cool to see Bruce Willis eating chips at 1:46... didn't know he was a Hardline fan.

Soccer player would have rolled down the moutain.
Plus its gonna be a hell of a lot easier to walk over when the adrenaline is still fresh
yeah, and those football guys drop and have to be carried from the place
Ouchhhh
Well nothing is broken. That’s a good start.
Dude that's grim... it just went from bad to worse. Good to see you walk away, I hope you're okay!
will feel it when he's 40
Thank god that woman was there to help the bicycle!
Glad you made it out alright! That course is unreal.
Hardline course ain't easy in those sliperry conditions! I'm glad you're okay bro! 💯🙌
Yikes! That was one heck of a crash. So glad you at least were able to walk away. God speed!
Scary as hell, speedy recovery to you.
i dont ride anything near this level and this shit terrifies me
@mike sprigg clown
damn! what a bang! I hope zero consequences. Terrible ground conditions
OUCH. One very tough rider. Got up and calm as...
So glad you are okay🙏🏻
So glad he's ok.....What a lovely Marshall ...so calm and collected... just want he needed..( apart from a nice cuppa tea and a Jaffa cake biscuit ) 🤓
Commentator: “Right when we didn’t expect it, Josh Lowe goes down.”
Also commentator just a second before the crash: “It’s a big impact!” 😂
That’s why these guys deserve so much more pay!
Or at least free medical at hospitals
gnarly crash mate. good to see you walk away from that one.
Hope you made a full recovery mate 👌🏻 remember the good ol days of the Mr Bling race series at Penshurst. Molloy and Deaking as well 🏆.
'Just when we didn't expect it...' - it was just when I did expect it!
I’ve had pain like that. Try to shake it off and walk away but then you get nauseous and just gotta sit down..
was his shoulder dislocated?
Just curious why aren't these athletes using full body protection?

Awww she was an angel
"He looks ok... He looks ok!"
... casually puts shoulder back into socket.
That bike tried its hardest not to hit you. Well done for getting back up mate I would have led there for a long time after that
Spine bounce off the rocks... my favorite mountain bike trick
Glad you made it alright. Next year you will get a good run!!
The TH-cam video that shows the top 3 runs is unbelievable. That little kid that won is fucking INSANELY fast!!! Especially when seen compared to the two guys that finished behind him.
That "little kid", is John Wick. He was once an associate of ours.
Goldstone is insanely skilled, especially for an 18 year old
Very lucky, that was massive. Nails for sure.
Bloody hell, hope your good mate!
Gros crash,mais une jolie rencontre!bon rétablissement mec!!!👍👍👍
I wonder how a soccer player would react to a fall like that.
They'd just be dead
They’d cry, worst that can happen in soccer is a rolled ankle and they complain how dangerous their sport is.

How's that collarbone.. That was heavy
If you think about it, going down a mountain on a bicycle is kind of dangerous 😊
BIG crash. Belated healing vibes.
Gnarly dude! Prayers out to you!
He ate that crash like a champ
Good thing the medical crew was there so fast it only took about 45 minutes
Happy that you're ok, dude.
Funny how the lady course Marshall looks like she walks to the bike first. She didn’t even rush over to check on him.
Dang he hit that ramp hard
Hi
Great run
Que Deus abençoe e proteja a todos MTB
" He does everything how it should be done " 😳😂🤣
Nasty. No ramp there last year.
The bike did a synchronized front flip with him and then kickflip'd him💀 Hope youre all good by now!
I love the fact she made sure the bike was looked after first. The way it should be lol
Reminded me of the crash I had when I fell off a 15 foot cliff and my shoulder and thigh slammed off my bike
God damn. That full facer worth its weight in gold there.
To bad he was not wearing any armor. I get it can be cumbersome but if he had a compression suit or some arm guards at least he probably would have jumped up to finish.
The track claim alot of rider..glad you make it alright Josh...till next season
that would have killed a football player xP
Beginner MTBers shouldn't see this video.
That woman was so nice and calm. I bet she's a great mother.
Lol. Safety person walks past fallen rider to retrieve fallen bike . Smooth move ,
Would you suggest she drags him off the track first? If somebody gets up, you dont necessarily touch them, they might not respond to well to it. But you can get the rig off the track. And thats it.
Jeez that was huge.
That'll hurt tomorrow!
Huge hit, but still small compared to Bernard Kerr's crash.
Ouch.
I don't think he clipped a tree. Just looked like he hit some rough on the trail that threw his front wheel to the side.
Brutal😔
And THAT is how you break a clavicle.
Seems like she is only worried about his bike 😂
1.46... what flavour crisps?
I felt that in the pit of my stomach.
Jesus, glad he's ok.
It was still more graceful than Jono's though
wondering no body is checking his conditions before he decided to walk away...every professional football player would have been out of game forever. tuff guys job here.
Brutal wipeout. Josh is made of stern stuff.
Ouch!
Where are Medics????!!! What the fuck!!!
That was fucking mental!
What the hell are you made of? I would have been like a China doll on the first impact
Wow. I know it looked bad,but it could have been so much worse.
holy smokes!!!
Crash helmet saved his life.
Fuckin A mate, that was brutal!!!
Why they don't wear more protective gear is beyond me....
Ouch
That was grim.
Good job by that woman 👍🏼
Has this been at qualifications? Standings is like qualifications right?
hope your alright
If they didn't wear such good helmets, he wouldn't have a face anymore.
And some woman takes advantage and trys to Nick his bike TERRIBLE
Damn
you're a beast
Without all that padding it could have been much worse.
Europeans seem to just dominate high-adrenaline sports. Maybe it's just in our blood.
i don't know Josh, but hope he is or will be okay soon.
Front shocks looked too soft for the run
Should be wearing full body armor
his bike did a kickflip over him and kept ghost riding lmao how
BK was on the mark. Least that time it was not Bernard. Sorry Josh
💪💪💪
bad first response that should be a shock assesment c spine first aid scenario
I dont understand why the staff girl go toward the bike first before the rider...
Rider said he was OK, you know he‘s concous and breathing so that‘s god, also he sat up by himself and walked by himself
Holy toledo!
