Kenneth, thank you so much for your great comment. I have thought very much about whether or not to monetize the channel. Not so much for me, but for my subscribers who ask about and truly want some of the products available here, but not in the overseas markets. I thought if it was monetized then I could take the money from the channel and put it back to my subscribers by purchasing items they want and then have a give-away for them.... This first one is on me and I hope whomever wins them really likes them...... Again, thanks for the comment, I always try to answer as many of them as I can and it also lets my subscribers know some of the things I'm not able to get on the video........

My wife is wanting to plant some vegetables in the Orchard so I was just tilling up some of the soil for her. Thanks for the great comment and watching the video all the way to the end......
I went with 2.50x17 front, 2.75x17 rear for tire to fender clearance at both ends but also stock gearing and and motor. Gonna put in a 143cc and a 40t rear after I come back from Baja but think I'll stick with said tire size. I'm running shiko 241 now but want to try the tread pattern that you mentioned...did try it on a larger size but that was too oversize and just can't find those tires in the size I want to run.
You may not be able to find the Vee Rubber tires where you are at, but the Shinko seems to be available everywhere. A 2.75 front or rear has plenty of ground clearance and if you do decide to put a 3.00 on, only put it on the rear as the front will be to close to the fender mounts....... Again, thanks for the comment and keep them coming.....
I'd have to say, the Vet Rubber, the IRC and the Shinko which all share the same tread design are excellent choices for the Honda CT125. The work very well on pavement and excellent off road.....
Both the front and rear tires are 2.75X17 and the tubes for them are both the same size, a 2.75X17 tube. If you go up to a 3.00X17 rear tire, you can use the same tube, the 2.75X17. Hope this helps.....
Excellent tire comparison and shared knowledge. I could tell you were NOT going to be daunted by that tumble and were going to keep on riding some more. I would have wanted to do the exact same thing and said 'piss on that rib! I'm riding!' But I've had 2 broken and the pain sets in quick.
After the adrenaline quit kicking in, the pain was pretty hard. I started taking Advil a couple times a day just to function normally, or some what normally. It helps out a bunch and is now allowing me to sleep at night. About the only thing it will keep me from doing is playing golf any time soon...... Sucks, but I'd rather go play golf without being afraid to swing the club... That and I don't want to aggravate until it has a chance to heal correctly. So, no golf for a couple months for sure........

your spot on target with this tyre session. i found the 3.00 tyres a big disappoint and lost power on the bike even with a 13T front sprocket. that was on my tan unit or the very first one. second time around -no way i'd put a 3.00 back on. its just for show but you loose the go...lol my thoughts on the ad side -go for it. if the subs don't think its worth a few ads on a channel -ask would they go out and do a 4 to 6 hours ride/edit and upload for just fun. do that same rides and upload 400 or more times and take the insults and the other crap - its no fun! bring on the ads...lol and put the returns back into your channel. if your not happy with this -just scrap it but i really think you deserve the ads for a great channel which has helped many decide on a CT125
I appreciate your comment and I agree it does take a lot just to put one video out there. I don't really care to put any money in my pocket on it, but it would definitely pay for parts that I could send to people who really have no way to get them yet. Hi Eddie, it’s Jerry in Tulsa Oklahoma. Was wondering if I could ask you a question about your USB port on your CT 125. You said that you wited yours up the same way that Some Guy Rides did on his CT 125, where you tap into the brown and yellow wire in the headlight holder. That wire is always hot on my bike. Should that be the case? I definitely don’t want USB port to be on all the time, and you said if it’s done that way, that it would only be hot when the bike is running. Is all this correct? Thanks in advance for your answer.
Ok Jerry, I've hooked my USB port up to the headlight wiring plug behind the headlight. There is a video out by a Thai rider, you won't be able to understand what he says, but watching the video will let you see what he did. This is the way I wired mine up, not by Some Guy Rides. He may have done his the way mine was done, but I followed the guy here in Thailand. You can watch the video: his TH-cam name is 17.8tv. You can also look the video up by typing in CT125 USB Anyway, he disconnects the black wiring connector in the headlight housing. He then connects his hot wire for his USB port to the connector as such. There are three wires in the black connector, two side by side with one horizontal above them. He hooked up to the left side by side wire. I believe it is gray and black. If yours differ from this, get a hot wire tester and see which one comes on with the key switch. That is the one you want to use. Hope this helps and thanks for the comment.......
@@TeamDNFracing thanks for responding! My problem is one of the parallel two is always hot, the other is cold and doesn’t come on with the key. I’ll watch the other video. Man you’re up early!!!!
@@jerbunch Went to bed early last night, then my busted rib started aching, Could not get back to sleep so waiting for the meds to dull the pain enough to go back to sleep. Are you using the black connector in the housing or the gray one. The video showed the black connector and to tell you the truth, I can't remember which one I used. It was a long time ago. I'd just use a hot wire tester and find one that comes on with the key and off when the key is off....... There was a guy who bought a used CT and the battery kept going flat. Turned out to be a faulty USB that was hooked straight to the battery..... Let me know what you find and how it works........
@@TeamDNFracing yep the black connector. Found I may have a bad usb (it has an on/off touch button). Ordered a new one. I understand if I connect my + lead to the brown/yellow, and ground my -, it’ll work with the key. I’ll let you know! Get well soon!

Since we got our bikes almost three years ago, we've been testing and trying out all sorts of modifications for the Honda CT 125. The tires have been a big issue for us here as to what grips best on both pavement and off road and what brand will last the longest. We found out early that the stock tires just won't do you much good off road, but actually work very well on pavement. As for anything else. Here in Thailand there are a multitude of motorcycle tire manufacturers here. We've tried the IRC, Vee Rubber, ND Rubber and Good Rubber brands and have settled that the Vee Rubber dual sport tread last the longest and gives very good traction both on pavement and off road. These tires are very similar to the Shinko brand that they us so much in the US. I've not been able to find them here in Thailand so I can't comment on how good they are. If you live in SE Asia, go with the Vee Rubber tire, you can't go wrong with them.....
Monetise your videos, they are good enough in my opinion! I cant believe you have made yourself a bike track in your property, awesome lol. These Bikes are over £4000 in the uk!
We've finally gotten the channel monetized and am saving up the add revenue from the channel to buy more video equipment. It would be cool to have a GoPro on each rider and be able to listen to what they have to say as well as be able to see what all of us see at the same time... It will be an editing nightmare for me, but should make even better videos......
It's a bit hard to sleep at night, can't lay on my back, my left side, my right side or my stomach. I have to prop a pillow right under the rib and stay totally still, I fall asleep and then move a bit and the pain wakes me back up. Tonight I'm taking some Advil, seems to be dulling the pain... Should be fine in a week........ Thanks for the comment and I always knew I'd slip and fall sometime with that bike, I'd of not said anything if it wasn't on video. Since it was, I had to go ahead and put it on the video.......

Glad you liked the video and thank you for the great comment and for watching it to the end. We all eventually will fall down, just most people don't have it on video....... Thanks again.......
Great video! Hope you didn’t hurt your bad knee!
You said it would eventually happen! Took it like a champ.
I thought about crying, but saying "Oh Fuck that Hurt!" seemed better. Just kidding, it didn't really start to hurt until after I went inside and relaxed. Thanks for the great comment and thanks for watching all the way to the end.......
I can't wait to comment on your question. Please forgive me. If monetization makes you enjoy your productions more, allows you to do more activities related to your retirement and motorcycling, and encourages you to do this longer, then please do it for all of us. You have motivated me to do more and I look forward to your broadcast. Thank you.
Thanks for all your time and information, hope you have recovered from your spill. At least you were on grass.
Ribs are all heeled up, feeling just fine. The monsoon weather is keeping us from riding much here lately, but we do get out a few times a month....... The bikes are still doing great and a lot of fun to ride........
It's good to know that the old guys still bounce as good as the young ones 😂 you should be a good gardener face planting like that.
Thanks for the tire comparison
I'd have to say, the Vet Rubber, the IRC and the Shinko which all share the same tread design are excellent choices for the Honda CT125. The work very well on pavement and excellent off road.....
I have a flat rear tire 🛞 on my CT125 what size tire tube do I need!
Both the front and rear tires are 2.75X17 and the tubes for them are both the same size, a 2.75X17 tube. If you go up to a 3.00X17 rear tire, you can use the same tube, the 2.75X17. Hope this helps.....
@@TeamDNFracing Thank You 😊
Excellent tire comparison and shared knowledge.
@@TeamDNFracing At least its the rainy season there so maybe you won't miss out too much. Just want to say again your movie intro was next level. Remember how we use to get excited every Friday night to see the next episode of the Dukes of Hazzard? Thats how I feel when I see a new notification on your channel... true story.
@@findingneutral Well, I've finally wrecked the "General Lee" but she came out of it without a scratch. Actually she came out of it a lot better than me. But, I've got more plans for more videos and I promise soon, Daniel and I will be back on some trails somewhere. I might steer clear of wet grass tracks for a while though... at least I won't be hauled ass on them that is...... I'm planning on doing some more two or three part videos and when I do one of them like that, there will be a trailer put out the day before each time. I like the trailers, they really are pretty quick to make and I like the way they look....... I'll keep riding until the spark has left my old body, life is to short to not go out and enjoy every bit of it you can...... Be Safe out there........
@@TeamDNFracing Outstanding 🙂. And I agree 100% with having as much fun as we can now.
your spot on target with this tyre session. i found the 3.00 tyres a big disappoint and lost power on the bike even with a 13T front sprocket. that was on my tan unit or the very first one.
second time around -no way i'd put a 3.00 back on. its just for show but you loose the go...lol
my thoughts on the ad side -go for it. if the subs don't think its worth a few ads on a channel -ask would they go out and do a 4 to 6 hours ride/edit and upload for just fun. do that same rides and upload 400 or more times and take the insults and the other crap - its no fun! bring on the ads...lol and put the returns back into your channel.
if your not happy with this -just scrap it but i really think you deserve the ads for a great channel which has helped many decide on a CT125
I appreciate your comment and I agree it does take a lot just to put one video out there. I don't really care to put any money in my pocket on it, but it would definitely pay for parts that I could send to people who really have no way to get them yet. In a year to two, these same modification parts will be readily available to everyone, but just not now.... Make sure you watch the next one, you just may win a new rear sprocket......... Again, thanks for the comment and I did get the quote all screwed up just as I thought I would.... Good thing you can throw a text up on the screen and make it right..... Cheers......
@@TeamDNFracing i think for CT buyers its very handy to have you in the very place where they are assembled. at least you know long before others whats new in bikes and what accessories are out their.
very handy info to have if one is chasing bikes or parts plus you get to scoot about in the jumgle too
got the lot!
@@ridewithwarro Thanks again, you started the English versions of the rides on the CT125, I just happened along a couple weeks later....... We make a good team on letting people know what works and what doesn't..... Saves them time and money.........
You need a long straight away with a double jump in followed by a banked turn. That fall would hurt a "20" something, how is it for an guy? I am 74 so don't try to pull my leg!
Love your channel, keep up the good work.
Does the 2022 or 23 ct125 have a 5 speed tranny?
Robert 😢😮😂
Sorry, no five speed tranny for 2023, but I did try a 40 foot double on my Honda 450 race quad and cased the quad on the second jump.... Broke my back in three places. Still bothers me when I try to ride rough terrain with the CT. Found out that if I slow down, it's not so bad..... Oh if my bones could just tell the stories of how I abused them.....
Good review.
I won't even wait until the next video to comment. Get paid! Monetize your channel. Pretty much every channel I subscribe to does it and at this point it's almost expected. You put time and energy into your content, might as well get paid for it.
Not doing it for the money, but I could use it to buy accessories that my subscribers are having trouble getting and do some more give-aways. I'd like to put it back to those who watch my channel........ Thanks for the comment and watching it to the end......
Thanks for the tire video, it makes me wander, I mean wonder😊. On another note, what is the exhaust system you are using?
I like your comment, I'm using a Diablo full exhaust system from K-Speed. You should be able to check out their web site and order anything they have for sale. I've heard lots of people in the states are buying from them.........
Hi, when you changed to the VRM 2.75 did you use the stock tubes or did you change? Thanks for the vid. Loving the channel.
The stock tubes will work, but when I bought the VRM tires, I ordered them with tubes also. Gives me some extras that way.... Yes, the stock tubes will work........
Hilarious! I've dropped mine twice....once in the garage fortunately I landed on a Styrofoam crate.
I should have been smart enough to be wearing a couple pillows around my ribs. I'd of bounced right up and not been cussing....... Thanks for the comment and watching to the end.......
Great video!
I appreciate the great comment and I'm really glad you liked this video. I hope those in the future are as good or better than this one......
@@jerbunch Great, I think I'll do a video on hooking this up because the issue keeps coming up and it's really hard to explain when I'm not really sure what the guy is saying in the video that I saved. I'll just do my own, but it is a bitch to get the headlight out with the two racks I have up there.... It's for a good reason, so now that riding doesn't seem like something I should be doing for a few weeks, instructional videos might be the ticket....... Glad you found it and let me know how it turns out.......
Thanks great video!
Respect…for keeping that in the vlog. Ouch
@@TeamDNFracing
If you’ve cracked a rib Eddie, it’s more like two months minimum. I did exactly the same when I was abut 28. Front wheel went and the handle bar went into my side a cracked three ribs. I think it was the best part of five months before I was ok. We won’t be playing golf anytime soon, that’s for sure. Regards
Bob
@@spizzenergi2292 Bob, I was wondering where you've been. No golf for at least a couple months, but with the Advil, it dulls that pain enough that I can function some what normally. Can't lift anything to heavy, but regular movement is starting to come back to me. What I did was pop the rib away from the Cartledge cage and then it slid back in. It bruises everything around it, I've done this several times riding and crashing. Takes about a month for it to not give me pain during a normal day. After that, I can still feel it occasionally for a few months later, but the real sharp pain is gone within a month. Won't stop me from riding, but definitely put a halt to my golf game...... Send me a message on messenger and let me know how you and the family are doing..........
My IRC GP-1 work great for my type of riding
For the majority of terrain, that tread design is probably the best on the market...... Thanks for the comment........
Lot's of info thanks
I hope it helps you decide on what tires you wan to run on your bike. I know I'm going with the Vee Rubber VRM-022 2.75X17 on mine front and rear for most all of the riding I will be doing in the future......... Thanks for the comment.......
Very informative - thank you. Hope you are ok after the spill.
I'm going to be just fine, popped a rib away from the Cartledge, it went back in but bruised things up around it pretty good. Had troubles being able to sleep last night and I don't dare cough, laugh or fart..... It won't stop me from riding though, I'll be back at it this weekend....... Thanks for the comment and for watching the video till the end.......
Shinko 244 are unbelievable Awesome, never lost traction tread wears for ever
Get a tripod, stop talking about what your gonna talk about and just talk about it. that will cut your video times in 1/2
Go ahead and monetize
I'm glad everyone is saying that, I really didn't want to do it as I hate the commercials popping up right in the middle of a good part of a video. But this is the only way I can pay back to those who have subscribed to and support my channel each week. I'm going to be putting the money from it right back into give-aways to those who have made my channel successful to me...... Thanks for the comment and I'll put your name in the drawing........
@@TeamDNFracing We can click ut of it after 5 seconds. I will refill my beer and let it play sometimes.555
@@jcbrashe For my friends who have TH-cam channels, that's what I do, when it comes on, I get up and get a beer, pop some popcorn. All sorts of things just to let it run for them..... I don't see my channel ever getting so big that it makes any real income, but if it allows me to purchase and send a few modification parts out every once in a while, it's worth it..... The killer on this is the shipping charges are through the roof........
if u can make some money i support that move
I only listen to what Americans have to say about products sold in America
I'm from America Wally, Oklahoma and you can buy all of these tires in the US.....
