@@DaBinChe 50 years putting oversize tires on everything I've owned, street or dirt, gotten used to things rubbing. Doesn't bother me or anything I've owned but that's just me. Got an uncle that can't stand anything like a rub or sound out of the ordinary. I use the rub as indicators. It's like having an extra censor to tell me things, so to speak.
@@DaBinChe seriously, the rub on your bike is an adjustment problem. Rear wheel out of alignment. Hard to notice dog tracking at small amounts while riding but happens if rear axle is out of alignment after chain tensioning. Adjust right side to pull front of tire to left just a hair ànd no more rub.
@@onewyatt1 nah this is not an adjustment problem, it is simply the tire is too big, axle to swing arm bolt on both sides match up so alignment is fine.
Running IRC 3.00 GP-1 front and back on my ct125 . I am running better yss shocks in the rear and yss front fork kit. Also had to raise front fender a inch.
Very informative. Thanks for sharing. After seeing this video I'm thinking 2.50 front and 2.75 rear.
That is what I'm currently running.
For myself, the rubbing you have is 100% acceptable. The rear finder plastic can be modified easy with a heat gun if the rub tends to rub nerves.
that rubbing might be ok for street use but dirt forget it

I was just thinking the same. If you put in stiffer shock, or longer to raise it a inch.
They look almost exactly like 1986 Honda CT-110, trail tires. So we must go with 2.75". Good to know.
Does the tire rub when on the street or only when riding hard off-road?
only dirt, rocks kick up inbetween tire and fender
Thanks for the update
