The players that need clearing out are the likes of Antony, shaw, Maguire, Casemiro, eriksen, rashford, mount etc - when we have so many players like this to move and we don’t but we do move the player that’s better than all these, that is definitely something to complaint about. Clear out doesn’t mean get rid of everything, it means get rid of the useless stuff.

Whether United fans see it or not, Mainoo is a decent player but not at the level required for United to be an elite team. He is far too slow and regularly gets destroyed in transition. Clubs like City and Chelsea have made a fortune selling academy players for pure profit going back years. And United are finally waking up to this and how it’s very smart business within the constraints of FFP. Chelsea fans got so emotionally attached to Gallagher and were acting just like United fans are now with Mainoo. People need to put aside the emotion and look at situations like this objectively.
