I own several sportscars, eg. Ferrari Pista, Porsche 992, but believe it or not, my i8 Roadster gives me a feeling none of the others can do. It's not the fasted, it's not the best handling, but you feel all the engeniering and it gives you a very special feeling. It's a milestone in BMW history as e.g. the M1.
Congrats on the new car! The i8 is pretty underrated in my opinion. Looking forward to seeing more videos with it! 👊🏻

It really isn’t that slow at all given I have the 2020 version
I agree. I have a 2014 i8 which i have ran a 0-60mph in 4 seconds. That is only .5 seconds slower than far more exotic cars. In fact its even faster than an R8 of a similar age.
@@MatthewRSimpson is it reliable? how often do you need to take it to garage for a check, is it expensive to maintain than lets say any regular looking car?
@Legacyofmine in 10k miles I haven’t had issues or anything outside normal maintenance. But at the end of the day it is still bmw!

To compare it to a Prius is pretty rough… terrible video.
