Lose the "music" and this would be good. With an F-Type, the only soundtrack needed is the one coming out the back of the car.

Sad the F type looks terrible compared to the xkr. After 2002 jags just lost their looks. What on earth happened. Not one Jag today turns heads
I own several sportscars, eg. Ferrari Pista, Porsche 992, but believe it or not, my i8 Roadster gives me a feeling none of the others can do. It's not the fasted, it's not the best handling, but you feel all the engeniering and it gives you a very special feeling. It's a milestone in BMW history as e.g. the M1.
Same i usually drive the chiron pur sport but the turbos muffle my ears so i decided to sell it and buy 70! bmw i8s brand new i preorderderd them i let me 10 yr old son drive me and take me to school😊
The V8 isn't really much heavier than the V6. It's kind of funny, actually, as the V6 is the same engine block as the V8 just with two fewer cylinders bored into it. That why the same engine cover fits both. So any weight savings that you would logically assume there would be between the two engines aren't realized. I was worried at first when you said it was 25 degrees out until you said the cars were on all season tires. Would have been dangerous on the stock summer tires, and could possibly have ruined them at that temperature. I have 2015 R, which was the only year of the rear wheel drive V8 F-Types. As you demonstrated here, the R is the more visceral experience. Love it.

I agree. I have a 2014 i8 which i have ran a 0-60mph in 4 seconds. That is only .5 seconds slower than far more exotic cars. In fact its even faster than an R8 of a similar age.
@@MatthewRSimpson is it reliable? how often do you need to take it to garage for a check, is it expensive to maintain than lets say any regular looking car?
@Legacyofmine in 10k miles I haven’t had issues or anything outside normal maintenance. But at the end of the day it is still bmw!

do you prefer convertible or coupe in jaguar f type?
Convertible is my preference
This is such a polarizing question. I definitely prefer the coupe. It has those Aston Martin lines, such a gorgeous roofline and shape that I feel is lost on the convertible. Plus, if you get the panoramic glass roof, you get that sense of open-top driving even though the top doesn't open. It let's tons of light in the cabin and give a very nice vibe to the interior.

@@NixCars I think the convertible looks better but only when the top is down (which is not that often in my country's climate). So I would prefer the coupe.

I will be switching away from the Lexus ES 350 Ultra Luxury next February - to the g80 2.5 AWD Advanced Package. As for me, I despise being restricted to ONLY a touch navigation screen - so the Genesis design option to use it, or use the center console dial, is a far better option.

I bought a 2023 Camaro SS convertible back in September. These are awesome cars. Reliable, decent on gas on the highway, and have the grunt when you're ready to put the power down. Totally underrated. 2 things I thought Chevy got right were the cowl cover that hides the recessed top, and the spoiler that looks tons better than the one that comes on the hardtop. Good luck with yours.

@@NixCars totally different segment then a Lambo. Listen I love the car but they are no where near their bottom value yet. I’m actually considering a R coupe that I’d be getting rid of my 997.2 C2S manual trans for just to get something with more theatre when it comes to exhaust. Just Jags don’t ever hold their values much like Aston’s.

@@NixCars I appreciate the video as well as your enthusiasm but other than very high end vehicles they should never be looked as investments. If you do that you’ll have to look at very specific vehicles and ones that aren’t been made the same anymore. Like NA cars that are all forced induction or ones that got rid of a manual trans along with purpose built cars like a GT350, CT5 Blackwing, ZR1, Z/28, CSL’s, AMG Black Series and the likes of all that. Also anything that has extremely low production numbers the Alpha Quadrifoglio might fall into this once they discontinue it.
