From my understanding it’s because they don’t ban a lot of broken shit so they accept maxx C as a counter to things like block dragon Also since it’s been a thing for so long a lot of archetypes are balanced around the earth insect so mid range decks get better play if they don’t have as many special summons compared to a combospam deck
@@jmurray1110 Yeah, and besides that, we’re so used to maxx c that when playing competitively, we especially build our decks to include a different route so we won’t immediately die after being maxx c.
I never ran maxx c anyway. The only errata should be that you can only limit the number of cards drawn instead. Let's say up 2 summons so it is basically the perfect pot of greed.
Some of these restrictions would go a long way to fix the card. Applying all of these restrictions would absolutely make the card useless in the same way CED became worthless after the errata.
No, exodia doesn't get negated bc it's a win con. Alternate win conditions are part of the effects of a card that aren't treated as effects or activated effects so they can't be negated. Another scenario is even if Ghostrick angel of mischief is under skill drain, she can still win you the game (if u have 10 materials on her). Hope this helps! 😊

If you have an empty board and no cards in the gy your probably won't be able to activate it again anymore
would this stop the hand effect of exodia
I don't think so since Exodia doesn't activate. That's a great question tho
