Hi to you Judy and Mark! 👋 Following the beginning of our journey which began exactly here watching your vlogs nearly two years ago!… We’re now in our 50’s and We’re happy to say we now work at a beautiful static and touring caravan park doing 9 months wardening with gorgeous (free) accommodation included, We are at the moment chilling in the sunshine in Spain on our 3 month break before returning to do it all again next season. No house! So no rent or mortgage! No council tax and bills and Just a camper van for the odd night in between or exploring new places on our two days off! We’ve never felt so liberated! Thanks to you two we have totally changed our outlook on life and it’s also never been easier to save for our retirement. To those thinking about it, we say Go For It!!! What have you got to lose!? And to you Judy and Mark, may we say Thanks a million! Keep up the good work and Enjoy Tenerife 🌞

Judy you're so funny 🤣 in a good way! Very much unheard of a couple working together and still having a happy relationship, but I can see from watching just 3 of your videos so far, that you are both having a whirl 🕺 I do love the idea of this 6 months work , 6 months off. And would love to do this myself at some point in my life for sure 🙌
Its a great life we love it and we get on fab. We very rarely argue if we do its cause Marks gone overboard on the beer ... good luck when you can do this xx

Arh thanks Gareth... My mother says I'm like a whirlwind 😂... Our vlogs are all about how we changed our lives from corporate full timers to becoming campsite wardens and having an easy pace of life... Our story began 4 years ago and this is where we are now winter in Tenerife 😜 and loving life why wait to retirement... Enjoy xx

Sounds good in theory but like you say it's different for everyone. Id love to do it but got a morgage to pay off , hopefully 2 years on that . Looking forward to following you in Tenerife. Have fun ❤👊
This is a great life I admire it. Working behinds off for 6 months then vamooshski..! Anyone who has worked in Social housing or frontline services in local councils will know that you need to take 6 months off after working there 6 months for stress relief alone. Only problem for me is the med can be quite cold/desolate in the winter October - March time. great videos.
It certainly is a great life and we used to go to mainland Spain however now we are in the canaries it is so different in terms of the weather def recommend it if you can xx
It's true a beer in a Cafe in Belgium is 4x the price as what you pay than in the store. I enjoy more more putting a table and chair in front of my camper enjoy every sip of my 1 euro palm than sitting between people and paying 4x the price.
Thats exactly what we think now...its the pandemic thats change our way of thinking...even Mark who loves a pub will say lets go back to the van and get some beer from the shop instead, I must admit i nearly fell over the first time he said it x
We just don't know what we're doing next year... We're really enjoying the idea of flying out and as it gives Mark a break from the caravan toilet 😂 and also we're in the van all year so it's nice to have a rest.. But who knows would love to do New Zealand but as we have elderly parents if we had to rush back for an emergency that's a bit far xx
We have discovered farm foods 😂 brilliant... Do meal planner and just buy what u need... They sell a beef joint for 4.99 put it in slow cooker with oxo and horseradish sauce.... It does 4 roast beef York pud meals. Lots of there products are almost 50p,cheaper than elsewhere. You can get fresh and refrigerated too. Last shop we did 80.00 just under 3 weeks... Our problem is oh just pop to shop in village for xyz and end up spending 15.00 a time so we don't go now x

Campsites are seasonal so you dont work in winter on majority of them x
